Re: The Last Day of Jesse Dirkhising, The other side of the gay coin. Where is the gay media machine on this one ????

Keith,

Hate crime, sex crime both are basically the same... a generalized power trip. Rape and bullying are both based on a false sense of having or wanting power.... the targets are chosen accordingly.

That said.....

There are far more cases of sexually or bully based crime against "straights" than there ever were or will be against gays. How those people choose to deal with it varies.

Hey Nominal,

(Good to see ya by the way, on this Sunday when the Tampa Bay Rays face off with the Texans in Game 4, and the Buccos are playing in Cincy, so I am rushed, as I still need to go to the grocery store before kick-off!!)

I was looking at articles on the web yesterday, after reading this article by Mark, and some of Tom's articles that he has posted.

The facts are this.   That Gay hate crimes are very far and few between.   According to the FBI.  That the liberal mainstream media has taken up this cause celebre'  because of the militant Gay Agenda's loud cry and typical antics, (like 300 individuals staging a, "Die-In")

It's deplorable that anyone would target an individual for their sexual preferences, and cause harm, or commit some kind of violent act.   It is outrageous, and I think all thinking Americans would agree.

It is quite another thing to start doling out privileges and additional rights to a class of people because of who they choose to hop in the sack with.   That's my only point.

Have a great Sunday!

It is a tough story to read.....here's my one observation..... as
compared to the "hate crimes" committed on those other homosexual boys
by their attacketrs, where the violence was motivated against them
solely because they were gay/homosexual.... the rape and violence
perpetrated against this youngster was "sexually" motivated...
It doesn't detract from the horror or the disgusting nature of the
crime.... but it was of a different sort.... hate crime... versus...
rape/sexual assault.....
That's my one criticism.... I think the author of this article is
making his case on false premises....hope you acknowledge the point,
even if you disagree with it somehow....
