Re: Government Seizes Newborn Baby Over Political Beliefs Of Parents

This is indeed troubling.....

For a good while, I did appeals of parents who had their parental rights terminated by the State of Florida.   In reality, for the most part, the State was justified in stepping in, where parents had abused their children, or had abandoned them.

Still, there were a number of cases that I witnessed first hand, where the parents were lower middle class, and might not be raising their children to the same standard that I, or a number of other middle class families would condone or approve of.   This was absolutely no justification for the State of Florida to intervene on behalf of the child, as a parent has a liberty interest in the raising of their children.

I don't know the facts of this matter, but it seems to stink to high heaven....

"A newborn baby was ripped from its mother's arms by officials from the New Hampshire Division of Family Child Services accompanied by police last night after authorities cited the parents' association with the Oath Keepers organization as one of the primary reasons for the snatch, heralding a shocking new level of persecution where Americans' political beliefs are now being used by the state to kidnap children."
