**JP** Letter to Editor - Mother of All Inventions

Dear All,

Continuing to below, well the matter was most interesting to me especially as I belong to general public suffering from load shedding and fuel prices plus electricity bills (if we get electricity by chance). Now it is safe for me to say that power generation from electrolysis is possible and of course it runs only by water+energy required to attain electrolysis of water. Dr. Hoodbhoy and other Doctors are sorry to say but ignorant, the main technique is to safely handle the pure Hydrogen gas which can be directly injected to engine as fuel to burn as it is highly inflammable and dangerous and also to handle the back firing of Engine which will result in your kit to explode and other damages. Other trick is to build suitable electrodes. I have myself seen a simple model of water kit and burn some hydrogen produced by it (just for fun). The engineer working on this project informed me that he only require Bronze wool (for solving back firing issue) + suitable container for kit and lots of spare time to develop the kit for his own car...let us see when he can be able to do that. Engineer also informed that instead of fumes and cancers we can get safe oxygen from the engines running from water kit as a side kick.

The main thing is why technologists and policy makers and honorable scientists are negating and putting up sarcastic remarks? matter is very simple......All the economies of world are petroleum based and energy cost enable the industrialists/manufacturers/producers/governments to justify what ever stupidity they bring to public as a justifications for their greed. I hope if some of our geniuses + state runners put their minds and efforts together then no doubt we can be able to generate this green energy within no time.

Best regards.

Here is some other doubts regarding water kit by Dr. from MIT, USA, Col Sahab can give us (especially Dr. Hoodbhoy) details regarding his French Water kit maybe give some internet reference etc. Some times ago some London plat Professor from Kalar Kahar / Chakwal claimed the same water kit I forget the details and can not find e-mail which was actually a cutting from some news paper, anyway all in all if the thing actually works then it should be available to gen. public asap..

I agree 100% with the analogy of col. (r) Riaz Jafri and deplore the sarcastic remarks of Dr.Faiz Ahmed of NUST about the WK invention of Mr. Agha Waqar. I would to know about Dr. Faiz Ahmed as what theories or inventions
he holds credit in his portfolio.

Palistanis do not excel in inventions or novel ideas & theories because there is patronage or encouragement for such endeavors.

Col. Jafri's reference to story of needle is quite befitting example that some such ridiculed ideas make major break through. Thanks for bringing up this topic for discussion.

LETTER TO EDITOR

MOTHER OF ALL INVENTIONS

Dr. Faiz Ahmad of the NUST (NewsPost Aug 3rd) has rather sarcastically tried to ridicule Agha Waqar for the auto water-kit (WK) that the later is trying to find sponsors to produce commercially.  I am sure the learned doctor knows that the water kit is not something new and quite a few of the  US and French kits  are already available in the market. I myself got one fitted for Rs. 25,000/= in my KIA Sportage (Turbo Diesel 2000), but though it worked for the plains it could not build up the required compression for the hills.  On smaller cars it works satisfactorily.  I am also sure that the learned doctor also knows that the vehicle fitted with the WK does not operate only on water but the hydrogen obtained from the water electrolysis is mixed with the fuel – whether diesel or petrol – to run the engine.  That reduces the fuel consumption greatly – even up to 50 percent at optimum working.

Lastly, I am sure the learned doctor has heard of the story that about a century ago a crazy man made a sewing needle with an eye in the front instead of the usual one at the back. Every one – like the learned doctor – scoffed at him but he kept on trying to sew with his needle.  Lo and behold, he invented the modern sewing machine, which revolutionised the entire tailoring industry.

So, Dr. Sahib, please don't discourage the man just because thousands and thousands of Ph.Ds around the world couldn't think of such a simple invention. Who knows the day may come when the planes and locomotives apart from the ordinary home power generators might use the Water Kits to run their engines at a fraction of what it costs now and the Ph.Ds have to rewrite the books on thermodynamics!!.
