Celebrity Networth estimates comedian, actor, and screenwriter Chris Rock has a net worth of $70 million.
But Rock, a big Obama supporter, thinks the America that's made him fabulously wealthy is an unregenerate racist country.
Yesterday, this was how Rock greeted the 236th birthday of America. He tweeted this message to his 858,051 Twitter followers:
Actor Don Cheadle re-tweeted Rock's message and added a "haha" to the end. Nominated in 2004 for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie "Hotel Rwanda," Cheadle has an estimated net worth of $30 million.
Jewish actor Zach Braff, best known for his role on the television show "Scrubs," also chimed in by tweeting: "Slaves weren't freed for another 90 years. So maybe just enjoy some of the fireworks." Braff's net worth is estimated to be $22 million.
The U.S. annual average per capita income is $41,663.
According to a March 2003 report by the U.S. Census Bureau, "Net Worth and Asset Ownership of Households: 1998 and 2000" by Shawna Orzechowski and Peter Sepielli, the median U.S. household net worth in 2000 was $55,000. Given the Great Recession and especially the crash in the real estate market, the median U.S. per capita net worth is probably in the $15,000 - $20,000 range today. [Source]
It is astonishing how Chris Rock and Don Cheadle, both blacks, manage to have done so astonishingly well, becoming so fabulously wealthy in the appallingly racist United States of America!
H/t Daily Mail
I will NEVER EVER watch ANYTHING with Chris Rock, Don Cheadle, or Zach Braff in it. Even if it doesn't cost me a penny.
That's my "Happy White People's Day!" message to them -- and I'm not even white.
