Unlike you, I am openly opposed to any sanctioned governmental marriage, but instead favor only governmental "civil unions" for anyone seeking a governmentally sanctioned, "civil union".  if you want to get married, go find a Church.

 

Like you,  I don't understand Mr. Grenell's resignation either.  I note that none of the purported, "Social Conservatives"  that were allegedly "sharply critical"  of Mr. Grenell's appointment are named, and I have seen nothing within the news media reporting on such criticisms. 

 

It's a shame,  I think Mr. Grenell was highly qualified and an addition to Romney's campaign.
