Re: misguided priorities

I believe in the stewardship of our Federal Government in space exploration, for a number of reasons:
 
(1)  National Defense;  Hell, there has been so many "National Defense"  issues that NASA has either created, and then resolved, inventions that were brought about by NASA and space exploration; and the prestige of it all;  (2)  Velcro;  (3) Tang;  (4)  Star Trek.
