advice for Obama

The blind leading the blind!

Former President and former "worst US president of all time" Jimmy Carter offers some election year advice to his successor at number one Barack Obama!

Getting down to brass tacks Jimmy Carter has this nugget for Barack Obama.

That if the main goal is first and foremost getting reelected for a second-term in office and it is not to lead the United States as its Commander-in-Chief, then:

"...Don't alienate voters with controversial positions.

The Georgia Democrat told The Associated Press on Tuesday that just about everything he did alienated voters, from sealing a treaty to hand over the Panama Canal to establishing diplomatic ties with China.

Carter said: "If your main goal is to get re-elected, avoid a controversial subject as much as you can in the first term..."

And that my friends is what passes as leadership in Washington. (Source)
