Meekal Sahib you say, "I would never separate myself from any of my children."  (as if they were your PERSONAL property or you had them the birth !!)  Do you realize that in doing so, you would separate them from their MOTHER!! Would you ever be able to give them the love which the mother would give to them?  Would your next wife and the step mother of the children EVER be able to replace their own real mother in ANY way? What a chauvinistic approach?  Do you realise in your selfishness you would separate the mother from her children. The mother who gave them birth out of her womb.  That alone, if you care to ponder, makes them part of her flesh and body and more justified in having them with her!! What moral right you have to get hold of the children and deny them to their mother?  Just because you are a MAN and the bloody law allows you this cruelty??

I would rather let the mother (any mother) keep the children, for, nothing in the world can replace mother's love for the children.  I think it is one of the cruellest things to snatch the children from their mother and separate the mother from them. Why not wait till they are of age to decide for themselves to be with the mother or the father ?  If you feel so strong about 'caring' of your children, send the money to the mother for their education in the best of the schools and general bringing up.  I have seen a few mothers separated from their young ones and believe you me my heart went out for them seeing their agony and the way they wailed and cried just to have a glimpse and hold their loved ones close to their bosom.

Are you trying to tell me that this is all the money he has? Mush has really milked the lecture circuit to maximum effect. As much as I don't like Mush, please don't compare the two!

We all know IK does many things to occupy himself. I believe he has homes (possibly also a flat in England) and he must have lands. His cousins do (meaning the cricketer Javed Burki and the others). I am not aware of whether he has ever declared his assets or published on the inter-net the balance sheet of his hospital for all to see.

How sad that while he pretends to represent the poor both his sons are safely tucked away in England where they will study and eventually settle down with Mummy having gotten them UK citizenship.

People will say 'well the mother is there'. I say, well, that's too damn bad because I would never separate myself from any of my children.

It says a lot about character.

Dear Friends:

Let us not degrade an honest person.  We have very few people left who are honest in Pakistan.

Imran Khan has been writing about cricket in various newspaper and magazines and they pay him money.  Another source of income is lectures.  Every lecture he delivers he gets paid.  People in Pakistan may not know that Musharraf is very popular on lecture circuit in the USA and Europe.  The lecture fees range $20,000 to $100,000.

On the top he has written a number of books.  The book publishers pay him money.  So for a single person who already owns his own home how much money does he need.

Frankly every time I receive a letter from him for his cancer hospital, I always send the money.  I have never seen the hospital.  So his travel is  easily  paid  for when he goes for fund raising.  Each fund raiser in any city of the USA collects thousands of dollars.

I hope this clarifies the situation.
