But I'd have more sympathy for the demonstrators if their "demands" weren't a tiresome retread of the same ol' Marxist pipe dreams that conned hundreds of millions of people to their deaths -- in the former Soviet Union, in Maoist China, in the short-lived Kampuchea, in Vietnam, in Eastern Europe, and in the gulags of China and North Korea today.
