Used to be five bucks. I guess that was too much. One cent would be overcharging.
New post on Fellowship of the Minds |  | Do you remember that White House AttackWatch.com site that was set up when Obama called on the American people to be informants, aka snitches, and report any and all "attacks" against him? Being a patriot, I leapt to answer his call, went on the website and snitched on myself and Fellowship of the Minds. Evidently Obama's minions don't read the contents of what snitches send in because they put FOTM on the White House's e-mail list. LOL Almost immediately, I got an e-mail from the campaign manager of Obama For America, with the enticing offer that if I'd just donate $5 to Skippy's reelection campaign, I too have a chance to dine with The Anointed Revolting One! 
Sadly, the White House was not inundated with $5 donations because 12 days later, the price is reduced to only $3! More than the cut-rate price, now they're bringing in the big guns. This time the e-mail appeal is penned by none other than Moochelle herself!!! Here's the e-mail I got: From: Michelle Obama <info@barackobama.com>Hide Date: Wed, Sep 28, 2011 11:36 am Friend -- Not everyone knows how to prepare for a dinner like this. As someone who's eaten countless meals with my husband, I want to tell you the one thing to do if you're selected to join him... Just relax. Barack wants this dinner to be fun, and he really loves getting to know supporters like you. I hope you'll take him up on it before Friday's deadline. Will you donate just $3 today and be entered to have dinner with Barack? These dinners mean a lot to Barack.
