Re: Perspective?

I'd say this is slightly off ...
(stealing) $58k per year
spending $75k this year with $8k per year increases projected
credit card debt of $327k
the BIG spending cuts to reduce the INCREASES to $6k

"To help put the government spending racket in some perspective, it should be remembered that President Kennedy submitted a proposed budget of $99.9 billion, because he didn't want to be the first president to have a peace-time budget of $100 billion!" -- Butler Shaffer

"If the US Government was a family, they would be making $58,000 a year, they spend $75,000 a year & have $327,000 in credit card debt. They are currently proposing BIG spending cuts to reduce their spending to $72,000 a year. These are the actual proportions of the federal budget & debt, reduced to a level that we can understand." -- Dave Ramsey
