Fwd: New comment on "Petition and protest against TSA molestation"

Here is a funny as well as informative message from Adam Savage from MythBusters: If you are offended by strong language please skip this.

It, in effect, tells us that the process is totally ineffective.

By the way if you haven't already looked it up here is the 4th Amendment for reference:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

If this isn't clear to you then you've wasted many dollars on an education.

Arguments that drag in other supposed violations of our "persons" are really irrelevant. Circumstances and conditions are different and these kinds of broad generalizations can be picked apart by any intelligent individual.

My understanding also is that the underwear bomber probably would not have been caught with a scanner. And the government has never presented a reasonable explanation of how he actually got on the plane. He had no passport, was argued onto the plane by a gentleman of some unknown authority saying that he traveled this way all the time, paid in cash for a one way ticket and finally the US authorities had been contacted by the man's parents that he might be dangerous. Yet the TSA seems to feel that frisking a nun in wheel chair, forcing a flight steward to remove her prosthetic breast and groping young children will prevent a terrorist attack.

Grow up people and see violation of our constitutional rights for what it is.
