Amtrak has been in the DEEP red for 40 straight years. That can only
happen in the government.

I also find my self thinking of Boston's "Big Dig" - The largest
federal highway project in history - started out with a budget of 2.8
billion, just crossed the 23 billion mark, and we ain't done yet.

REALLY cool bridge, and tunnels that have a nasty tendency to kill
people.
