Obama was never concerned about tax cuts

If he was, he could have passed legislation 2 months ago when he had
the votes.
Technically, he still should have the votes, the new group of
Republican's have not officially taken office yet.
It simply wasn't that important. Someone isn't looking far enough
beyond their own wallet.

It's too late now though.
If Dem Congress don't pass the tax cut legislation, then they will be
the ones who are seen as not caring about the working class.

We all know how it benefits the Republican rich people cause...
But for Obama, it's a win also because he gains back a bit of leverage
with Wall Street donors who contribute to the Democratic Party.
Rest assured though, everyone else losses via a higher national debt.

There is absolutely zero chance that the tax issue will be any
different in 2 years, so Obama might as well made the cuts permanent.
