Are you interested in working with individuals who are striving to spread the ideas of liberty? IHS is looking for part-time conference management interns for spring 2011. Full or part-time spring internships are available beginning Tuesday, February 1, 2011 through Friday, June 3, 2011.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) seeks a self-starting, motivated, detail-oriented Educational Programs Assistant/Coordinator to support the Institute's programs that teach young people about classical liberal ideas. Located in the Educational Programs Department, this person will assist with logistics and processes for our educational programs, including a series of week-long summer seminars, weekend on-campus seminars, and weekend discussion conferences.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) seeks a driven, highly experienced Fundraising Campaign Manager to drive an ambitious, 2-year campaign to raise $20 million. We will launch the "20 by 2012" campaign (tentatively named) as part of IHS's 50th anniversary in 2011. The goal of the campaign is to raise the resources necessary for IHS to implement a bold new vision and strategy for transformative impact over the next two years. The Campaign Manager will work closely with IHS's senior leadership to plan and implement the campaign.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University seek a grant writer for the organizations' shared development department. This integral position is vital to the growth and success of IHS and Mercatus, both of which are playing a lead role in movement for liberty.

Are you interested in working with individuals who are striving to spread the ideas of liberty? IHS is looking for part-time and full-time interns for spring 2011. Spring internships begin on Monday, January 17, 2011 and run through Friday, May 27, 2011 (dates are negotiable).

The Institute for Humane Studies and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University seek an energetic and reliable part time Office Assistant to join our team. Primary responsibility is to courier mail between our two offices in the afternoon. Additional responsibilities include maintaining supply inventories, distributing mail/packages and other light office duties. This position is approximately 2 hours a day (preferably 3-5pm) 5 days a week.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) at George Mason University seeks a self-starting, entrepreneurial Policy Programs Director to lead our talent development efforts for students and young professionals interested in public policy careers in think tanks, government, politics, and academia.  This person will manage IHS's suite of policy programs, including a large internship program, educational seminars, and one-on-one mentoring.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) at George Mason University is seeking a Program Director to manage a growing Humane Studies Fellowship (HSF) program. The HSF program is a critical part of IHS's strategy to help graduate students and outstanding undergraduates with an interest in academic and policy careers to succeed in advancing liberty.

The Institute for Humane Studies (IHS) seeks a self-starting, entrepreneurial Senior Development Officer to join a dynamic organization aiming to have a much greater impact and, therefore, to grow its fundraising efforts aggressively in the coming years.  The Senior Development Officer will be responsible for working closely with IHS's President, Director of Development, and the Development team to plan and implement strategies for cultivating relationships with and soliciting investments from prospective and existing major donors and foundations.

Are you interested in working with individuals who are striving to spread the ideas of liberty? IHS is looking for a full or part-time temporary worker for the first few weeks in January 2011. Temporary assignments begin on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 and run through Friday, January 21, 2011 (dates are negotiable).
