It is very shocking for me to see Pakistani flag under Indian flag in a graphic on waqt news web site. I tried to contact Ms Muneeza Nizami and other people but failed to express my sentiments. We Pakistanis considers Nawa-i-Waqt as organ of ideology of Pakistan and hope you will take action against responsible person and this mistake will not be repeated in Waqt group

پاکستان والی بال فیڈریشن کے مطابق قومی ٹیم نے تیسری ایشین سینٹرل زون والی بال چیمپئن شپ میں حصہ لینے کے لئے آج بھارت روانہ ہونا تھا تاہم بھارتی وزارتِ داخلہ کی جانب سے بھارتی ہائی کمیشن کو کلیئرنس نہ ملنے کے باعث ہائی کمیشن نے پاکستانی کھلاڑیوں کو ویزہ دینے سے انکار کردیا۔ جس کے بعد ٹیم کی ٹورنامنٹ میں شمولیت مشکوک ہوگئی ہے۔ تیسری ایشین سینٹرل زون والی بال چیمپئن شپ سولہ سے بیس ستمبر تک بھارت کے شہرکولکتہ میں منعقد ہو رہی ہے۔ چیمپئن شپ میں میزبان بھارت کے علاوہ ایران، قازقستان اور پاکستان کی ٹیموں نے شرکت کرنا تھی۔

Survey of Flood Hit Areas

 

The havoc wreaked by the floods has also obliterated most of the natural as well as manmade features and land markings demarcating the land holdings of the individuals in the rural areas. During the resettlement phase of the flood affectees and reconstruction of their houses plus demarcating their agricultural fields there is bound to be lots of confusion which could even lead to ugly law and order situations. It is, therefore, imperative that the government starts saving the images of the terrain and areas of all flood affected areas through Google Map on the internet, which is still displaying the pre-flood era images. Google Mapping technology not only give extremely clear images of the area but one can also measure the distances and individual perimeters of any given area to an amazing accuracy.

 

Is there someone in the government listening please?
