Title: Java MDM Developer

Duration: 1 year

Location: Rochester Hills, MI

Max Rate: $40/hr C2C

Main required skills:

ยง J2EE Certified
ยง 2+ IBM Infosphere MDM Server Custom Domain programming experience
ยง Minimum 5 years experience programming complex Java services (not web pages)
ยง Production support experience desirable
ยง Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, Access)
ยง Knowledgeable in creating basic Perl scripts
ยง 3+ years Oracle/SQL
ยง Experience on both Unix and Windows platforms

Purpose of Role/Organizational Unit: To provide a resource to provide development in the IBM Infosphere MDM Server Customer Domain environment. The individual will be part of a larger development team on the MDM project which will take direction from an MDM architect on that team.

Functions Performed:

The following functions are the responsibility of the MDM Developer. This individual will be responsible for performing these tasks independently as well as in collaboration within the team and across other teams to provide a solid end to end solution. The MDM Developer must be willing to perform outside of core skill set in order to complete requested tasks.

Position Responsibilities

โ€ข Design and develop Java services to exchange data with the MDM hub
โ€ข Understand underlying MDM Architecture (database and services) to understand cause and effect of programming efforts
โ€ข Be able to program Perl scripts for job control
โ€ข Create or update design and systems documentation for developed or modified services or programs
โ€ข Create process and data flow diagrams for data movement capture
โ€ข Cross train team members for full knowledge coverage on team
โ€ข Interface with IT and Business users for requirements gathering and implementation

Regular, predictable attendance

Educational Requirements:

ยง Bachelorโ€�s Degree from an accredited University
