ok, so to clarify myself...
maybe it wasn't "the greatest military build up the world has ever
known". Rest assured, we have had our share of those with multiple
Presidents.
But the point was that it was more than sufficient to counter any
potential problem...until Bush Jr. got hold of it that is.
The military could have 100 times the size it is now and still not
prevented 9-11 from happening.
If you think that having a military that can occupy the world is the
answer to all the problems, you're sadly mistaken.
It's time you stopped being so scared and letting the military
industrial complex bilk you out of tax money.
You see where it led us, and it will only led to more of the same.
If there's one thing plainolidiot and I can somewhat agree on, it is
this.
