Re: Grand Obstructionist Repblicans Block DADT Repeal, Vote No to helping 9/11 Responders, and No to Funding the Troops in a Time of War.

Tommy, it failed because not all the Dems voted for it. There are not
enough Republicans in office until Jan to stop it. The Dems voted
against it and that is why it failed. Simple Mathematics!! There are
not 41 Republican senators and the Dems still have a majority in the
House. The Dems could pass this any time they want. Instead they pack
it into an omnibus military spending bill along with the Dream Act and
the statue for the Fat Swimmer and then when it fails you try to blame
the Republicans for voting against DADT. You keep doing this and it
makes no sense at all. You could just as well say that the Dream Act
did not pass because of Obstructions or the statue for Fat Teddy did not
pass because of Obstructions and it would be just as true. You really
have no basis for saying it was all because of DADT at all. Why did
your Dems not all fall in line and vote for it. They are the reason it
did not pass. It was a Dem bill proposed and pushed by a Dem Majority
Leader and he did not get his own troops in line and therefore it
failed. You are just trying to shove the blame off on anyone else who
might disagree with your POV. Simple Maths!! The Dems did not support
this bill enough to pass it. Your Majority Leader screwed up in not
lining up enough of his own troops to pass the bill.
