Meghan McCain claimed that many Republicans treat her like "a freak" and "a mutant" while speaking on MSNBC on Thursday.

She spoke out about the backlash during a segment about ideological divisions within the GOP. McCain said that many people do not consider her a true conservative because she departs from the party on issues like gay marriage.

"I'm a proud moderate Republican, but using the word 'moderate' in the Republican party today is considered a dirty word," she said. "Many people in the Republican party treat me like I'm a freak, like there's something wrong with me and that I'm a mutant from the original design."

When pressed on being treated like "a freak," she joked, "I work for this network for a reason." (McCain joined MSNBC as a contributor in November 2011.) She added that "if you're not an extreme right-wing conservative... you're given no respect."

Later, McCain reflected on what she perceived as the shift to extremism in the GOP, and called out two prominent conservative bloggers. "I wish I knew more where it came from I don't understand the popularity of Michelle Malkin and Andrew Breitbart and people who exacerbate people's fears."

She also had a clear message to her critics. She noted that some members of the GOP may reject her, "but I always stand here and say you can't actually kick me out of the Republican Party."

ہما رے وہ پا کستانی سا ئنس دان جو ایٹم بم کے خالق ہیں انھوں نے کبھی یہ سو چا بھی نہ گا کہ جو ایٹم بم وہ اپنے وطن کی حفا ظت کے لیے بنا رہے ہیں وہ حفا ظتی حصاران کے ملک کے لیے عذاب بن جا ئے گا دشمن کسی طرح اسے ہضم نہیں کر پا ئیں گے کہ ایک اسلا می ملک کیوں ایٹمی طا قت بنے لیکن اس میں سب سے زیا دہ قصور بھی تو ہما رے اپنے پا لیسی سازوں کا ہے جنھوں نے کبھی اس سے مثبت انداز سے فا ئدہ اٹھا نے کی کو شش ہی نہیں کی آج کے دور میں کسی ملک کی ترقی یا فتہ ہو نے کی سب سے پہلی شرط صنعت و حرفت میں اضا فہ ہے جب کہ ہم لو ڈ شیڈنگ کے عذاب میں پھنسے ہو ئے ہیں ایٹم بم بنا نے کے بعد ہو نا تو چا ہیے تھا کہ ہم ایٹمی پا ور پلا نٹ پر توجہ دیتے مگر ہم آنکھیں بند کر کے بیٹھ گئے نتیجہ یہ کہ اس وقت ملک شدید لوڈ شیڈنگ کے بحران کا شکار ہے بے روز گا ری نے ہر چیز الٹ پلٹ کر رکھ دی ہے اتنا نقصان تو کسی ملک کو سونا می سے نہیں ہو گا جتنا ہمیں اس لو ڈ شیڈ نگ کر ائسس سے ہو رہا ہے اس منفی پہلو کے با وجود اگر ہم آج تکبیر ڈے منا رہے ہیں ایٹمی طا قت کے حا مل ملک کے شہری ہیںتو اس پر ہمیں فخر بھی ضرور ہے کہ اسے بنا نے وا لوں نے بہت نیک نیتی سے ہما ری حفاظت اور سلا متی کے لیے ہی بنا یا ہے جو ان کے بس میں تھا انھوں نے وہ کیاجو اسے بگا ڑنے والوں کے ہا تھ ہے وہ اپنی ایڑی چوٹی کا دم لگا رہے ہیں ۔
انسان نے اس دنیا میں آنے کے بعد ہی اپنی حفاظت کے لیے ھتیارر ایجا د کرلیے تھے یہ ھتیار کبھی کوئی در خت کی موٹی شاخ تو کبھی کوئی نو کیلے پتھر کی صورت میںاس کو تحفظ فراہم کر تی پھروقت کے ساتھ ساتھ اس نے بھا لے ،نیزے ،تیرکمان ، تلوار اور منجیقو ں کا استعما ل شروع کیا انیسویں صدی میں جب سانئس اور ٹیکنا لو جی نے تر قی کی تو ھتیا روں میں بھی جدت آتی گئی دور جدید کے ھتیا روں میں کلاشنکوف ، ریوالور،مشین گن اور راکٹ لا نچر کی کئی چھو ٹی بڑی قسمیں متعا رف ہو ئیں 1905ء میں عظیم سا ئنس دا ں البر ٹ آئن سٹائن نیو کلیئر پر ایک رسرچ کی جس میںوہ نا کام رہے مگر اس کے تیس سال بع 1934ء میں اسی ریسرچ کو بنیا د بنا کر اینر یکو فیئر مین یہ ثابت کر نے میں کا میا ب ہو گئے کہ ایٹم کا نیو کلیئر آہستہ کرنے والے نیو ٹران کو اپنی جا نب متو جہ کر سکتا ہے جو ایک جدید اور مہلک ہتیار بنا نے میں معاون ثابت ہو تا ہے یو ں ایٹمی ھتیا روں کا دور شروع ہو ا امریکہ نے پہلے ایٹم بم کی تخلیق اور اسکا کا میاب ایٹمی تجربہ 16جو لا ئی 1945ء میںکیا امر یکہ کو اپنی طا قت ثابت کرنے کا شوق روز اول سے ہے اس لیے اس نے اپنے ایٹمی تجربے کے محض 20دن کے بعد ہی دوسری جنگ عظیم میں اپنے حریف جا پان کے دو شہر وں پر بم بر سائے جس سے جا پان کو شکست کے ساتھ سخت جا نی ومالی نقصان اٹھا نا پڑا ا مر یکہ کی اس فتح کے بعد تو گو یا یو رپی ممالک اپنی بقا ء کے لیے اسے لا زم وملزوم سمجھنے لگے فرانس ، روس ، فرانس، اسرا ئیل ، چین اور بر طا نیہ ایٹمی دھماکوں کے بعد ایٹمی طاقت والے نا قابل تسخیر ممالک میں شامل ہو گئے ۔
تقسیم بر صغیر کے بعد بھا رت نے اپنا ایٹامک انرجی کمشن 1948ء میں قائم کر لیا تھا لیکن پا کستان نے اس با بت کو ئی پیش رفت نہیں کی تھی ۱۷۱۹ء کی جنگ کے بعد جب پاکستا ن کے دو ٹکڑے ہو ئے تو یہ احساس جڑ پکڑ تا گیا کہ پا کستان کو اپنی عسکری طاقت کو نا قابل تسخیر بنا نا ہو گا تا کہ دشمن آ ئندہ اس پر ضرب نہ لگا سکے قوم ابھی اسی ما یو سی کے سمندر میں غو طہ زن تھی کہ976ء میں بھا رت نے اپنا پہلا ایٹمی دھماکہ کا تجر بہ کر ڈالا جس کے جو اب میں جنا ب ذوالفقار علی بھٹو نے اپنا مشہور زما نہ جملہ اداکیاکہ '' ہم گھاس کھا لیں گے لیکن ایٹم بم ضرور بنا ئیں گے ۔'' قوم کے اس سپوت نے ایٹمی پلا نٹ کی بنیاد رکھی جس میں آنے والے دنوں میں محب وطن آرمی چیف اور حکو متی سر براہوں نے اس کا م کو آگے بڑھایا ان لیڈروں نے جن میں جنرل ضیا ء الحق ،صدر غلا م اسحاق خان ، میاں محمد نواز شریف ، محترمہ بے نظیر بھٹو ، مرزا جنرل مرزا اسلم بیگ ، جنرل وحید کا کڑ اور جہانگیر کر امت شامل رہے جہاں ان لیڈروں نے اس مشن کوپا یہ تکمل تک پہنچانے میں اپنے فرا ئض خوش اسلوبی سے ادا کیے وہا ں ہمیں اپنے ما یہ ناز سا ئنس دانوں پر بھی فخر ہے جنھوں نے سخت ما لی ودیگرمشکل حالا ت میں ایٹمی تجربے کو کا میاب بنا یا ڈاکٹر عبدا لقدیر خان، ڈاکٹر ثمر مند مبا رک ، ڈا کٹر اشفا ق ، ڈاکٹر بٹ، ڈاکٹر بشر الدین ، اور دیگر قا بل فخر سا ئنس دانوں کی دن رات کی پر خلو ص محنت اور قومی جذبے کی سر شاری نے وطن عزیز کو اس قابل بنا یا ۔
ڈاکٹر ثمر مند مبا رک یوم تکبیر کے حوالے سے فرما تے ہیں کہ ''بلو چستان میں چا غی کے مقام پر8 مئی998ء بروز جمعرات تین بجکر سولہ منٹ پر الٹی گنتی گننے کے بجا ئے اللہ اکبر کا نعرہ لگا کر ٹیسٹ کا بٹن دبا یا گیا اس لیے اس دن کو یوم تکبیر کا نام دیا گیا ''۔ یو م تکبیر کے با برکت نام کا نعرہ ہماری تا ریخ کی تمام غزوات میں دین اسلا م کی نصرت وکا مرانی کا سبب بھی رہا ہے ایٹمی دھما کے کے تجربہ کے بعد پا کستا ن دنیا میں ساتویں اور اسلا می دنیا میں وا حد ایٹمی طاقت بننے کااعزاز حا صل ہو گیا تما م دنیا کے مسلما نوں نے اس کا میا بی پر مبا رک با د کے پیغاما ت دیے قبلہ اول مسجد اقصیٰ کے خطیب نے فرما یا ''یہ قوت محض پا کستان کی قوت نہیں بلکہ سارے عالم اسلا م کی قوت ہے ' ' ۔ایٹمی قوت بننے کے بعد تما م مسلم ممالک میں پا کستان کی عزت وتوقیر میں اضافہ ہو ا اس کا میابی میں ہما رے اسلامی ممالک کی مالی اور اخلاقی مدد بھی شامل رہی 28مئی کو یو م تکبیر کے حوالے سے ہمیں یہ بات یا د رکھنی چا ہیے کہ زند قومیں ا پنے ہیروز اور قومی دن کو ہمیشہ یاد رکھتی ہیں اس کی حفا ظت اور احترام کر تی ہیں ۔
آج جب پوری قوم یوم تکبیر کی سالگرہ منا رہی ہے تو ہماری اٰیٹمی تنصیبات کی سلامتی اور حفا ظت پر چا روں طرف سے سوالیہ نشان اٹھا ئے جا رہے ہیں ہما رے بہی خواہ (امریکہ اور بھا رت ) اپنے تحفظا ت کا اظہا ر کر رہے ہیںہما رے سول اور فوجی ادارے با ر ہا اس با ت کی یقین دھا نی کروا چکے ہیں کہ ایٹمی پروگرا م انتہا ئی محفو ظ ہا تھوںمیں ہے ڈاکٹر ثمر مند مبا رک ایٹمی پلا نٹ کی سیکورٹی کے حوالے سے کہتے ہیں کہ '' ویپنز کی سیکورٹی کو محفو ظ کرنے پر کڑی تو جہ دی گئی ہے ا س میںکمپییوٹرز ،پرو ٹیکٹیڈاور بہت کچھ سیکورٹی کے حوالے سے لگا ہوتا ہے جو ایک خا ص طریقہ سے پرو گرام کیا گیاہو تا ہے ا س میں کو ڈ لگے ہو تے ہیں اور یہ کو ڈ ہر کسی کو دستیا ب نہیں ہو سکتے ''۔یہی وجہ ہے بھا رت ،امریکہ اور اسرائیل ہما ری ایٹمی تنصیبا ت کی حفا ظت کے لیے ہم سے زیا دہ فکر مند نظر آتے ہیں آج کے حالات میںامریکہ جو دہشت گردی کی جنگ میں ہما را اتحادی ہے جس نے ما ضی میںہما رے ایٹمی تجر بے کی پا داش میں ہما ری اقتصادی امداد پر پا بندی عا ئد کر دی تھی پوری دنیا میں ہمیں تنہا کرنے کی تدبیروں میں پیش پیش تھا لیکن وہ ہما را کچھ بگا ڑ نہیں سکا ماضی سے سبق سیکھتے ہو ئے ہمیں یہ با ت نہیں بھولنا چاہیے کہ یہ ایٹمی قوت کی طا قت ہی ہے جس نے ہمارے ملک کو اپنی حفا ظت میں لے رکھا ہے ورنہ ہما رابھی آج وہی حشر ہو تو جوافغا نستان اور عراق کا ہوا ۔ ایٹمی طا قت بننے کے با وجود ہما ری قوم کو اس با ت کا ملال ضرور ہے کہ اتنی بڑی کامیابی بعد ہو نا تو یہ چا ہیے تھا کہ ہم جدید ٹیکنا لو جی کے میدان میں مزید ترقی کرتے ملک سے بے روز گاری ،دہشت گردی ، لو ڈ شیڈنگ اور کر پشن کی دلدل سے نجا ت حا صل کرتے مگر افسوس کہ ہما رے سول ادارے اورحکمرا ںاشرافیہ اپنی تجوریاں بھرنے میںمصروف نظر آتے ہیں دہشت گردی کے شعلے ہما رے پورے ملک کو اپنی گرفت میں لپیٹے ہو ئے ہے لیکن گھا س کھا کر ایٹم بم بنا نے والے لیڈرکے جا نشینو ںکو اس بات کا قطعی احساس نہیں امریکی آقاوئں کے آگے سر نگوں ہے جب کہ قوم تما م تر مصائب ومشکلا ت کے با وجود وطن عزیز کی حفا ظت وسلا متی کے لیے ہر قربا نی دینے کو تیا ر ہے ۔۔

What would our founders say if they could see us now? Americans like to believe that the rest of the world looks up to us, but the truth is that the rest of the world is laughing at us. It may be very difficult for us to admit, but the reality is that America has become a nation of slobs. And I am not just talking about being overweight. Today, Americans are physical, mental, emotional, moral, financial and political slobs. We are addicted to entertainment, we are addicted to shopping, we are addicted to food, we are addicted to prescription drugs, and we are addicted to anything else that gives us the pleasure that we crave. We allow our televisions to do our thinking for us and our families are falling apart. Our lives center around pleasing ourselves, and we have become one of the most narcissistic societies in the history of the world. We are like a middle-aged man that has totally let himself go. You know the guy who shows up for an important event in sandals, sweatpants and a stained t-shirt? That is us. We are only a shadow of what we once were as a nation, and we desperately need to change course.

So what is the solution?

Well, just like any addict, the first thing that we need to do is to admit that there is a problem. Until we admit how dramatically we have fallen, we are never going to be ready to make the changes that are necessary.

And yes, we have fallen a long, long way as a country.

The following are 24 facts that prove that America is a nation of slobs....

#1 Right now, approximately 36 percent of all Americans are obese. It is being projected that number will rise to 42 percent by 2030.

#2 Back in 1962, only 13 percent of all Americans were obese.

#3 Medical costs related to obesity in the United States are estimated to be approximately $147 billion a year.

#4 All over America, our infrastructure is crumbling. For example, in the most populated county in Alabama potholes the size of pizzas now litter the roads.

#5 The average American family purchases 200 pounds of meat per family member each year.

#6 Large numbers of cows that are killed for hamburger meat in America stand ankle-deep in their own manure all day long.

#7 The average American watches 28 hours of television every week.

#8 U.S. corporations sell more fast food and more soda than anyone else in the world by a very wide margin.

#9 The average American drinks more than 600 sodas every single year. That is by far the most in the world.

#10 Of all the major industrialized nations, America is the most obese. Mexico is in second place.

#11 Americans take more prescription drugs than anyone else on the planet.

#12 The United States has the highest rate of illegal drug use in the entire world.

#13 According to the Pew Research Center, only 51 percent of all Americans that are at least 18 years old are currently married. Back in 1960, 72 percent of all U.S. adults were married.

#14 The United States has the highest divorce rate in the world by a very wide margin.

#15 According to one study, one out of every four teen girls in the United States has at least one sexually transmitted disease.

#16 The United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate on the entire globe.

#17 The United States has the highest child abuse death rate on the entire globe.

#18 The United States produces more pornography than any other nation has in the history of the world.

#19 One survey found that an astounding 30 percent of all Internet traffic now goes to pornography websites.

#20 Consumer debt in America has increased by a staggering 1700% since 1971.

#21 There is more credit card debt in America than anywhere else in the world.

#22 There is more mortgage debt in America than anywhere else in the world.

#23 There is more student loan debt in America than anywhere else in the world.

#24 Nobody in the world gets more plastic surgery done than Americans do.

The American people need to change as well.

Just because you were once the most powerful nation on earth does not mean that you will always be the most powerful nation on earth. Every single year, hundreds of billions of dollars leaves the United States and goes to China. This enormous transfer of wealth has had a dramatic effect on both countries. In case you haven't noticed, many of our formerly great manufacturing cities such as Detroit are rotting away while shining new factories and skyscrapers are going up all over China. If you go into any major retail store today and start turning over products, you will find that hundreds of them have been made in China and that very few of them have been made in America. As a nation, we buy far, far more from China than they buy from us. As a result, China is absolutely swimming in cash and they have been looking for things to do with all that money. One thing that China has done is loan the U.S. government over a trillion dollars and this has given the Chinese a tremendous amount of leverage over us. China has also started to buy up businesses, real estate and natural resources all over America. This kind of "economic colonization" is similar to what China has already been doing in Africa, South America and Australia. The formula is actually very simple. We send them our money and then they use it to buy us. With each passing day China's ownership over America grows, and it is frightening to think about where all of this could end.

The following are 45 signs that China is colonizing America....

#1 It was recently announced that China's Dalian Wanda Group has bought U.S. movie theater chain AMC Entertainment for a whopping 2.6 billion dollars. This deal represents China's biggest corporate takeover of a U.S. firm ever.

#2 Earlier this month, the Federal Reserve announced that it has given approval for banks owned by the Chinese government to buy stakes in U.S.-owned banks.

#3 A few days ago Reuters reported that China is now able to completely bypass Wall Street and purchase U.S. debt directly from the U.S. Treasury Department.

#4 A recent investigation by the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services found more than one million counterfeit Chinese parts in the Department of Defense supply chain. How in the world could we be so stupid?

#5 After being bailed out by U.S. taxpayers, General Motors is currently involved in 11 joint ventures with companies owned by the Chinese government. The price for entering into many of these "joint ventures" was a transfer of "state of the art technology" from General Motors to the communist Chinese.

#6 A Chinese company known as "Sino-Michigan Properties LLC" has purchased 200 acres of land near the town of Milan, Michigan. The goal is to build a "China City" with artificial lakes, a Chinese cultural center and hundreds of housing units for Chinese citizens.

#7 As I reported on recently, corporations controlled by the Chinese government have been rapidly buying up U.S. oil and gas deposits worth billions of dollars.

#8 Chinese investors have been gobbling up real estate all over New York City. The following is from a recent Forbes article....

According to a recent report in the New York Times, investors from China are "snapping up luxury apartments" and are planning to spend hundreds of millions of dollars on commercial and residential projects like Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn. Chinese companies also have signed major leases at the Empire State Building and at 1 World Trade Center, the report said.

#9 The Chinese are also doing huge real estate deals in cities in the middle part of the country. The following example is from an article in the Toledo Blade....

Dashing Pacific Group Ltd., which has already purchased the nearby Docks restaurant complex for $2.15 million, put its $3.8 million offer to buy the southern 69 acres at the Marina District in East Toledo back on the table for approval by Toledo City Council. Additionally, Dashing Pacific Chairman Yuan Xiaohong, in a letter signed in Hangzhou, said the firm wants a two-year option to buy the decommissioned Toledo Edison power plant property on the site.

#10 According to ABC News, major road and bridge projects all over the United States are being built by Chinese companies. Meanwhile, there are millions upon millions of blue collar American workers that cannot find jobs. The following is a brief excerpt from a recent ABC News article....

In New York there is a $400 million renovation project on the Alexander Hamilton Bridge.

In California, there is a $7.2 billion project to rebuild the Bay Bridge connecting San Francisco and Oakland.

In Alaska, there is a proposal for a $190 million bridge project.

These projects sound like steps in the right direction, but much of the work is going to Chinese government-owned firms.

"When we subsidize jobs in China, we're not creating any wealth in the United States," said Scott Paul, executive director for the Alliance for American Manufacturing.

#11 The new World Trade Center tower is going to include glass that has been imported from China.

#12 The new Martin Luther King memorial on the National Mall was made in China.

#14 A couple of years ago, a large Chinese company was considering building "a 10,000- to 30,000-acre technology zone for industry, retail centers and homes" just south of Boise, Idaho.

#15 Our trade deficit with China in 2011 was $295.5 billion. That was the largest trade deficit that one country has had with another country in the history of the planet.

#16 In 2011, our trade deficit with China was 28 times larger than it was back in 1990 and more than 49,000 times larger than it was back in 1985.

#17 Back in 1998, the United States had 25 percent of the world's high-tech export market and China had just 10 percent. Today, China's high-tech exports are more than twice the size of U.S. high-tech exports.

#18 America has lost more than a quarter of all of its high-tech manufacturing jobs over the past ten years.

#19 According to the Economic Policy Institute, America is losing half a million jobs to China every single year.

#20 The U.S. spends about 4 dollars on goods and services from China for every one dollar that China spends on goods and services from the United States. Does that sound like "fair trade" to you?

#21 While we allow Chinese goods to freely flood our shores, China just keeps slapping new tariffs on American-made goods. According to the New York Times, a Jeep Grand Cherokee that costs $27,490 in the United States costs about $85,000 in China thanks to all the tariffs.

#22 According to U.S. Representative Betty Sutton, an average of 23 manufacturing facilities a day closed down in the United States during 2010.

#23 The United States has lost an average of approximately 50,000 manufacturing jobs a month and more than 56,000 manufacturing facilities in the United States have been shut down since China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001.

#24 The United States has lost a staggering 32 percent of its manufacturing jobs since the year 2000.

#25 Between December 2000 and December 2010, 38 percent of the manufacturing jobs in Ohio were lost, 42 percent of the manufacturing jobs in North Carolina were lost and 48 percent of the manufacturing jobs in Michigan were lost.

#26 In 2010, China produced more than twice as many automobiles as the United States did.

#27 In 2010, China produced 627 million metric tons of steel. The United States only produced 80 million metric tons of steel.

#28 In 2010, China produced 7.3 million metric tons of cotton. The United States only produced 3.4 million metric tons of cotton.

#29 Today, China produces nearly twice as much beer as the United States does.

#30 85 percent of all artificial Christmas trees are made in China.

#38 15 years ago, China was 14th in the world in published scientific research articles. But now, China is expected to pass the United States and become number one very shortly.

#39 China now awards more doctoral degrees in engineering each year than the United States does.

#40 China now possesses the fastest supercomputer on the entire planet.

#41 China now has the world's fastest train and the world's most extensive high-speed rail network.

#42 The Chinese economy has grown 7 times faster than the U.S. economy has over the past decade.

#43 The Chinese economy is projected to be larger than the U.S. economy by 2016.

#44 One economist is projecting that the Chinese economy will be three times larger than the U.S. economy by the year 2040.

#45 China now holds approximately 1.17 trillion dollars of U.S. government debt. If you were alive back when Jesus was born and you had spent a million dollars every single day since then, you still would not have spent that much money by now.

Thanks to the foolishness of our politicians, today American workers have to compete directly for jobs with workers on the other side of the globe where it is legal to pay slave labor wages.

Do you want your standard of living to continue to descend toward the level of a communist worker making about a dollar an hour?

Do you want tens of millions of American workers to be unemployed indefinitely as millions of good jobs continue to leave this country?

If not, you better stand up and say something while you still can.

The greatest economy the world has ever seen is falling to pieces right in front of our eyes and most Americans are dead asleep.

Undeniable Facts:

1. At this year's CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference), Andrew Breitbart promised March 1, 2012 as the date he would release damning video evidence that would damage Barack Obama's reelection. On March 1, 2012, Andrew Breitbart, only 43 years old, died from, according to the Los Angeles Coroners Office, a sudden heart attack.

2. On April 21, 2012, the L.A. Coroners Office released its final autopsy report on Andrew Breitbart. That same day, April 21, 2012, a forensics technician or criminalist, Michael Cormier, died suddenly from suspected arsenic poisoning. (By the way, we still have not been told the official cause of Cormier's death!)

3. According to a former CIA secretary testifying before a Congressional committee, the CIA has a secret weapon -- a poisoned dart that can induce a fatal heart attack. The dart leaves a barely-detectable red dot on the victim's skin, and dissolves in the body. The poison is undetectable in autopsy.

4. An eye-witness of Breitbart's sudden collapse onto the ground in a street near his home said Breitbart's face was bright red -- a symptom unusual for heart attack victims, whose faces and lips typically turn blue. Bright red skin, however, is symptomatic of cyanide poisoning.
