It is really unbelievable news I read first at Express news & then Pakistan observer also reported. Malik Riaz is among top 10 rich man of Pakistan and he did a great job. He also invited other rich man of Pakistan to come ahead and help him doing charity work. This is the amount of biggest aid I ever heard. If such people still exist in Pakistan I think no other country can damage Pakistan. He will get thousands of duas from poor people of Pakistan and in Ramadan I think he just purchased the jannah (paradise) from Allah taala by annoucning this.

GOD Bless Pakistan and GOD Bless Malik Riaz.

**JP** Humiliation to Pak military delegation at U.S. air port and madness of PAF air chief

Humiliation to Pak military delegation at U.S. air port and madness of PAF air chief

By: International Professor

The news item published in U.S. press about humiliation to Pak Military delegation at Dulles air port was shocking but when delegation cancelled their further visit to CENTCOM gave relief that still there are honourable professionals in Pak army.

This report was not enough when blood boiling comments of some peoples were found on different websites with remarks soaked in hatred against Pakistan and army delegation were found. On one side Gen. Kiyani is claiming that he is sacrificing our priceless Jawans to maintain peace on the streets of Washington and London and on other hand Anglo-Americans are sparing no moment to humiliate Pakistan as a country and its peoples.

DG ISI had to cancel his scheduled visit to U.K. after Prime Minister David Cameron's comments against Pakistan. It is not a first instance that top Pakistani military officials have been humiliated by U.S. officials, previously Gen. Orakzai and Gen. Rashid Qureshi openly commented that those will never revisit to U.S. Everyone knows that what happened when Gen. Tanvir Naqvi along with other senior officials were insulted on airport in Mush era.

Now such kind of incidence has become routine and flight attendants have given powers to listen any drunken person and off load the passenger. In 100% cases Muslims and particularly Pakistani's is their target. This is all happening due to unnecessary greed of dollars has devalued our politicians and generals.

Recent controversy on Altaf Husain's statement has also created an opportunity for those politicians to roar against Pakistan army that had been hand coughed and dragged by army Hawaldars a few months back. Today third class politician and anti-Pakistan ANP's Haji Adeel has openly insulted DG Military operations during a briefing at Islamabad. (refer daily Ummat and daily Express of 01-09-10)

Some peoples are propagating that army has achieved its lost popularity is a myth; in fact American war of terror has exposed all kinds of myths surrounding bravery of Pakistan army. Long list of medals to army officers and Jawans killed for the sake of dollars is showing other side of coin posted by ISPR.

The countries that are showing middle finger to our officials repeatedly whether our army chief did not have middle finger. Our criticism to generals and politicians is for the sake of rebuilding nation, in spite of repeated attempts of corruption and fascism we have no choice to side with our officials visiting overseas and representing our national flag. On other hand PAF air chief after receiving humiliating kick to his colleagues became made and used air force to kill 40 persons including women and children at Tirah Valley today. Bombarding on peoples in Ramadhan while majority was with fast shows criminal mentality of air force chief.

Please read following reports published in media and tell us what to do, May we cry on role of Pakistan army in obedience of foreign powers.

Pakistani military officers on way to Tampa are detained in Washington

Associated Press, Tuesday, August 31, 2010

WASHINGTON — A delegation of Pakistani military officers, traveling to the U.S. Central Command headquarters in Tampa, was detained for questioning by airport security agents after arriving at Dulles International Airport outside Washington, a Pakistani official said Monday night.

The officers were detained after one of them made what a flight attendant considered to be an inappropriate remark on the way to Dulles, said the official. That officer was removed from the flight after it landed, and the rest were detained after they disembarked. They were later released.

Members of the delegation of about eight officers, led by a two-star general, were offended by their treatment and cancelled the meeting at Central Command, the official said.

He said that Defence Department officials had apologized for the incident and that it was unclear whether the meeting would take place.(1)

Pakistani military delegation heads home in protest after Dulles incident

Tuesday, August 31, 2010; 10:47 PM

A delegation of senior Pakistani military officials visiting the United States for a major defence conference headed home in protest Tuesday night after they said they were interrogated and rudely treated by security officials at Dulles International Airport.

The nine-member group of high-ranking Pakistani officers boarded United Airlines Flight 727 from Washington to Tampa late Sunday but were pulled off the plane after one of them "made a comment to a flight attendant," said Mike Trevino, a United spokesman. United did not provide details, but Pakistani officials said the remark came from a general in the delegation who - weary of a long day of travel that began in Islamabad - said, "I hope this is my last flight," or words to that effect.

That sparked a call to Dulles law enforcement officials, who detained the delegation for 2.5 hours and refused to allow the officials to contact their embassy or the U.S. military officials who had invited them to visit, according to a Pakistani military official who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The Pakistanis were finally released after police at Dulles determined they did not pose a threat. But instead of proceeding to Tampa, the delegation was ordered to return to Pakistan by their military superiors in Islamabad, in protest of their treatment, the Pakistani official said, adding that they were "verbally abused." The group of officers spent the next 48 hours in Washington, waiting for the next available flight home, and were scheduled to depart the United States on Tuesday evening.

The Pakistani officers were originally en route to U.S. Central Command headquarters in Tampa to attend the annual conference of the U.S.-Pakistan Military Consultative Committee, said Maj. David Nevers, a Central Command spokesman. He said Centcom officials hoped to reschedule the conference. (2)

Security forces kill 40 'militants' in Tirah

By Ibrahim Shinwari , Wednesday, 01 Sep, 2010

LANDI KOTAL: Security forces claimed to have killed more than 40 militants in shelling in different areas of the Tirah valley on Tuesday.
According to officials, over a dozen militants were killed in Nari Baba, 13 in Nakai and 18 in Takhta Kai and Qilla areas.
The claims could not be verified independently,
while some reports suggested civilian casualties in the heavy shelling.
According to earlier reports, six suspected militants were killed and four others injured when a military plane attacked a moving vehicle in Tirah.

However, officials said women and children were among the dead and injured. The injured were taken to a hospital in Peshawar.
A security official said the authorities had information about the presence of dozens of militants in the area. Independent sources insisted that most of those killed were non-combatants and all of them belonged to the Kukikhel tribe.

Military officials said they had clear orders to avoid civilian casualties. "It is never our deliberate effort to hit civilians," an official said, adding that all the dead and injured in Tuesday's attacks were militants.

The remote Tirah valley is an important junction for militants operating in Orakzai Agency and Bara sub-district of Khyber tribal region. Bara in particular has seen an uptick in violent incidents in recent weeks, including attacks on security forces. Peshawar has also come under pressure from militants operating in Bara, prompting calls from the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for action against militants in and around the provincial capital. In other incidents, two people were shot dead in Bara and Jamrud. (3)

Non Professional pilots of PAF:

PAF jets and helicopters are being operated by third class professional pilots and thousands of women and children have been killed under the cover of terrorists. In fact Pakistan has deceptive constitution and in the presence of fraudulent democracy there is no accountability of army officials. If it would have happened in any civilized country those pilots would be sent to jail in first instance. That is why foreign countries are humiliating our officials because according to comments of ordinary peoples on foreign websites those think that our army is mercenary force nothing else.

**JP** News from Afghanistan! 22 US soldiers dead

With an ever increasing attacks on invading forces, the latest toll is 22 US soldiers dead since Friday. In addtion, there was an Estonian soldier killed, and one Canadian soldier died of earlier injuries. The toll is rising and steadily. This year seems to be the worst for the coalition, as they spread news of victories, their soldiers may know how victorious they actually are! No one asks why these soldiers are there and why they are being thrown into this senseless war. No one knows why he is there, who is the enemy, why the enemy is the enemy, why he is killing whom he is killing and when he will be back...these are tough questions, no one seems to have an answer, yet the war continues, as it is the politicians sitting in their homes and palaces deciding on making people the fodder of guns! This war needs to be stopped!!!

Life In Slums Of Mumbai

Posted on 17. Apr, 2009

This is really sad and disturbing collection of photos that show unattractive landscapes of Mumbai slums. In my opinion it is impossible to live under this conditions, but obviously, as these images present us, there are many unfortunate people who live like this. According to the United Nations, one billion people worldwide live in slums, and 55% of the population of Mumbai live in slums, which cover only 6% of the city's land. These rather disturbing numbers are well accompanied by the following photos. Feel free to comment.

**JP** is the cricket scandal all fake?

Some light on the cricket scandal. Is it all fake? See the link forwarded to me by a friend and decide

**JP** Fw: A Pakistani military delegation became the latest victim of the paranoia permeating US airports on Monday night....

All our staff and officials should cancel their visits if subjected to such treatment! There is no need to go with people who are suffering from paranoia. They need treatment!
It was a good decision to cancel the trip! There seems no accountability or professionalism on that end and they need to learn how to do business with professionals! Tough luck for them if they cannot learn! They live in a bubble world of arrogance. It does not work these days. It only works on those weak, or who have important visits that bear on their business or career or family, and this dependence is taken advantage of, it seems and that is highly unprofessional!

WASHINGTON: A Pakistani military delegation became the latest victim of the paranoia permeating US airports on Monday night, when US security officials detained a brigadier at Washington's Dulles airport on a complaint by a passenger who said he did not feel safe sharing the flight with the delegation.

The brigadier was removed from the United Airlines flight, and others in this eight-member delegation were also detained after they disembarked. They were later released.

The dispute became a major diplomatic row as the delegation, offended by this treatment, decided to cancel an important meeting at the headquarters of the US Central Command in Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday, and return home.

By the time the US Department of Defence apologised to the delegation, their leader, a two-star naval officer, had already informed Islamabad where officials approved his decision to return home on Tuesday night.

The delegation included senior officials from all three services, the army, the navy and the air force.

Dawn contacted the US Transport Security Administration, whose officials had detained the brigadier, and the Department of Homeland Security but failed to get a response.

Mathew Chandler, a DHS spokesman, and Lauren Gaches of TSA, however, asked Dawn to contact the airline.

United Airlines officials, however, told the US media that the brigadier, whose name was not disclosed, had misbehaved with a stewardess and told her that "this would be her last mission".

Information collected by Dawn showed that the incident that led to the cancellation of the meeting happened at Washington's Dulles airport on Monday night when a passenger on the flight to Tampa complained that a Pakistani brigadier, while talking to his colleagues, had made remarks that he found threatening.

Officials of the airline informed the Transport Security Administration who detained the brigadier and later other officials as well.

A Pakistani official, when asked to comment on the airline's claim, said: "This is a delegation of senior officials, led by a two-star officer, not unit captains and majors. Such responsible officers do not indulge in such behaviour."

Information collected by Dawn also confirmed the Pakistani claim as the plane was delayed for 40 minutes before the airline's mentioned the alleged altercation between the brigadier and the stewardess.

Later, an official of the airline came with a TSA security officer and asked the brigadier to disembark. She gave no reason.

The head of the delegation asked the brigadier to get down and cooperate with the TSA. The brigadier disclosed his identity.

There was no response for about 15-20 minutes and then the airline and security officials asked the entire delegation to get off the plane.

The leader of the Pakistani delegation showed TSA officials an invitation letter from the Centcom, confirming that they were going to Tampa for a meeting. He also showed them all the passports that identified the delegation as senior military officers.

He then requested to talk to a senior TSA official or the person in-charge of security at the airport but his request was turned down.

"They did not let them speak and treated them like terrorists," said a Pakistani official. "The investigators were unprofessional, junior officials."

The official said that the TSA and airlines officials kept telling the delegation that a passenger found the brigadier's remarks threatening but did not say what those remarks were.

"The delegation was detained for two hours, telling them nothing, not allowing them to talk to anyone," said the Pakistani official.

"They received no response even when they showed them their passports and the Centcom letter," the official said.

"At the end, they realised their mistake and apologised but by then the delegation had decided it did not want to take that flight."

Explaining why the delegation decided to cancel the meeting and return home, the official said it was basically because of the humiliating treatment by the TSA and airline staff.

"They could not prove any of the allegations. What we gathered is that one of the passengers became paranoid, so they decided to detain an official delegation. This is an issue of paranoia," said the official who said the Pakistani forces will hold their own inquiry to determine what caused this humiliating behaviour.

In Islamabad, the Inter Services Public Relations said: "A Pakistani military delegation on a visit to US (on US invitation to attend a meeting at Centcom) was subjected to unwarranted security checks at Washington airport by US Transport Security Agency. Later, the delegation was cleared and US defence officials regretted the incident. However, as a result of these checks, military authorities in Pakistan decided to cancel the visit and call the delegation back."
