And we thinks that it's just because of the computer hardware problem as its old now, well that's not the reason. (if you haven't received my previous mail then just send me a mail requesting it) Then I wrote down 16 points. In this era, Computer has become such an important necessity for all of us that we cannot imagine living without it. Even a house is incomplete if there is no computer in it LOLz.. really its like dat now |
| 1 thing which is very important to think about is that if you make a race between a donkey and horse then you already know the result. The reason to give such a stupid example was to tell you, if you are still using veryyyyyyyyyyyyy old computer then I will advice you that don't waste your energy and time. Most of us uses such an old computer and try to do all of the things on it when it simply just can't do it. |

| Its important to tell you that I have run winxp on a Pentium 3 computer whose speed was 600 or 700MHz and RAM was 250MB and its was working fine really. I was running Ms-Office and Internet on it without any problem. |

| Never the less, by keeping in mind today's softwares and working environment, I will tell now what are the basic hardware requirement of a computer to do all of our daily work without any problem with WinXP installed on it. | ||

| My advise is to have a Pentium 4 computer with 1.6 GHz processor speed (min).. RAM should be 500MB min. But I will advise you if possible, increase your RAM with 1GB or 2GB atleast. Now a days RAM's are very cheap so make it a one time decision and make your life easy. |
| RAM boost your computer performance. It doesn't matter if you bought a PC with a high processor speed and having only 500MB RAM in it. The over all PC performance will be very slow or should I say average until it's RAM is not increased. Well the PC performance is also dependent on the cache speed but that we are not going to discuss it now. And hard disk … 50GB is more than enough for a normal user. If you want to store high volume of media like movies and songs in it then you can have a hard disk with more capacity. |

| People who are still using Pentirum 3, they don't have to worry about any thing. Because Winxp will run smoothly on it if you take care of the things which I will tell you in future. You just have to fine tune it. And you can also increase the RAM size of it. My advise to Pentium 3 users is to increase ther RAM size to 1GB if possible. Take your PC to market, and ask the guy to replace the old RAM with the new one. Don't buy the RAM on your own without taking advise from an expert. Because RAM depends on the board and other factors.
The requirements which I have briefed above, if you all follow them then definitely you wont face any kind of problem in near future. Because these are just the basic requirements to use your pc for routine work. If you want to run special softwares like Photoshop, corel, 3D softwares then you have to buy a PC according to that. But for a normal user, it's enough what I have told above.
