discrimination against any citizen is unlawful: "All persons born or
naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction
thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein
they reside.( No ) State shall make or enforce any law which shall
abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States;
nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property,
without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its
jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
Therefore, the current unequal second class citizen status of gays in
the United States is indeed unlawful, unconstitutional, and
discriminatory. DOMA is unconstitutional, as are the laws in the 32
States which have banned same gender marriage through discriminatory
anti Civil Rights referendums which should NEVER have been placed on
the state ballots, as they all violate said 14th amendment.
You see, Keithie, the majority almost always votes against the minority.
