New post on Fellowship of the Minds |  | Ah, San Francisco. City by The Bay. As diverse as it is beautiful. The home of The Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiardelli Chocolate and Alcatraz. And now, it will have a street named after one of its most famed political figures.... NANCY PELOSI !  That's right, 'The Wicked Witch of the Left' herself. But I don't think just plain old "Nancy Pelosi St." does her justice. Maybe we can come up with something better among us.
Some details I have been able to uncover as an investigative reporter (see *Dolly*) include: 1. It is a short and crooked street that goes nowhere. The name 'Lombard St. (known as the crookedest street in the U.S) is already taken. 2. It is an AssFault road. 3. It intersects Hate/Assberry 4. It will be listed on a 2700 page map. But you have to drive on the road before you can see the map. What are your suggestions for a name to honor Ms. Pelosi ? ~Terry  name that street by Conn Carroll The Washington Examiner May 21, 2012 San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee will rename a street after former-Speaker Nancy Pelosi today in Golden Gate Park. "Middle Drive East" which connects Martin Luthjer King Jr. Drive and John F Kennedy Drive in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park will now be renamed in honor of Pelosi and her 25 years of service in Congress. San Francisco is the second city to name a street after Pelosi. Baltimore, her home town, renamed a street in her honor in January 2007 shortly after she was elected Speaker of the House. | | | |
