As well they should be. Its the unions that suck. They want every
district to be a closed union shop - period. The greatest threat to
them is charter schools. Here, at least, if you teach at a charter,
you CAN'T join the union. If you teach at a "traditional" (yes folks,
charters ARE public) public school then you MUST join the union.

Thats a load of bullshit whose sole purpose is to protect the fifedom.

We went charter. I get hate mail from the unions, which I enjoy
greatly.

Governor Patrick (D-Very) just signed law allowing 75 more charters
statewide. The unions are apeshit. President Obama also supports
charters.

And you KNOW the unions will support them the next time they are up
anyway.
