Republicans are just as dumb and deaf as Democrats. The American voters spoke loudly with their November vote. They want politicians, in both parties, to stop spending money we don't have.

Instead of listening to that vote, Republicans put a pro-pork barrel spending earmark whore in a leadership position over the Appropriations Committee. Hal Rogers (R-KY) had over $200 million in earmarks last year in Congress.

Some idiots never learn. Republicans have been out of power for over four years and then they pull this. They should remember that the vote in November was not an endorsement for the Republican Party and the same fate waits for them in 2012 if they refuse to listen to their employers...the taxpayers.
