Fellow Libertarians,
On behalf of the Libertarian Party of Northern Virginia, I cordially invite you to attend our Annual Convention.
Doors open at 1:30pm, and business starts promptly at 2:00pm, with a reception/social gathering to follow around 6:00pm.
Regarding board member elections, LPNOVA will hold elections for all five LPNOVA board positions: Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, and Officer At-Large. Maximum participation at this convention in encouraged. All are welcome, and those who qualify and are certified as LPNOVA delegates may vote on motions and on board member elections. Libertarian Party members are encouraged to serve on the LPNOVA board. In order to serve on the board, you must be a member in good standing with the LP and Libertarian Party of Virginia. If you are interested in running for a board position, please email LPNOVA Secretary Matt Mosley at secretary@lpnova.org so that he can include your name on the ballot.
Additionally, if you have proposed amendments to our Bylaws, please send your proposals to treasurer@lpnova.org. While this is not a requirement, and proposed amendments will be heard at the convention, this will help facilitate more efficient proceedings. Click here to read our bylaws.
Food and drinks will be provided, and we guarantee you will have a good time, so please join us and be a part of our uniquely Libertarian experience. We will send you more updates and details as we move closer to the Convention.
