This is a guy who really ticks me off when he spouts off that the Bush WH could have done more before the 9?11

I am sure most of us have read the fabled document that supposedly told the WH that OBL was planning to attack the US using planes.   That is fine, all well and good;.  We found out he was going to attack with planes.  However, what was not known was the start airport of the attacking planes, what the targets would be, what date would be the attack date.

I live in NYC, actually in Queens halfway between La Guardia airport and JFK airport and 15 miles from Newark airport and 15 miles from Teterboro, a private plane airport.  At any given time between 6 AM and midnight you can look up into the sky and see at least 10 flights either landing or leaving these airports - upwards of 4000 flights per day.  Since the briefing papers said the flights would be in the first 2 weeks of September, that would be more than 56,000 flights to check out just for NYC.   That does not include DC, Chicago, LA, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, etc.  Because of the wall between the CIA,FBI, NSA, DIA,Secret Service set up by the Janet Reno/ Jamie Goralnik DOJ, these intelligence agencies were not able to share their intelligence on the matter even if there was information - and there was some although it would have required info from more than 1 agency which would have been illegal.  With all that I find it ridiculous that this guy says there was a lot more that the Bush WH could have done - and does not bother to tell us just what that addition action could have been.

I was in the intelligence section during my army days back in the JFK era at the highest level, including but not restricted to preparing the daily briefing books for the president, senate, congress, and the big wigs, civilian and military, in the Pentagon.   Even without that insane wall between the agencies, the agencies did not play well with others then.  I cannot see them playing well at the time of the 9/11 attack.  Given that and the sheer number of parameters that needed to be checked out with nothing to go on but a hazy comment in a daily briefing, I would like Mr Clark to tell us what he would have done and then tell us how he would have accomplished this under the circumstances in place at the time.   I would bet he would stutter if forced to respond to that.

Check out this story in the UK Daily Telegraph to read what he blathered on about:
