Re: Why aren’t the Republicans listening to Americans?

Tommy,

As I promised two years ago,  I openly challenge you to find anything whatsoever that is inaccurate in this attachment that I am sending you.  As an inducement, Again, as I did two years ago, I will pay of yours, or anyone's mortgage who can find ANYTHING inaccurate in my research.

I am a man of my word, read it, and point out how the failed Bush Administration policies caused the current financial meltdown debacle.

P.S.:   As I have posted here before, below is the definition of Socialism:

"Date: 1837. From Latin socialis for "friend" or "companion" or "associate". Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods; usually there is no private property; in Marxist theory this is also considered just a transitional stage between capitalism and communism and it is distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done."

The above definition is by Mr. John Spargo, from his work titled: "Socialism, A Summary And Interpretation Of Socialist Principles" (McMillan & Co. 1913).  Below is the Wiki definition, which is quite similar.

"Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.  A stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done"

The truth is, that the Democratic Party now openly advocates socialism, which by its very definition, is some middle ground and transition to communism.   Although the Democrats used to try and evade the moniker, and distance themselves from being classified as socialists, they do so no more.  Congresswoman Maxine Waters, (D. Cal.)  parroted the Venezuelan socialist dictator, Hugo Chavez, calling for the nationalization of the oil companies:

Current Obama Administration Chief of Staff and former House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) said just recently:

"So if there's any seriousness about what some of our Republican colleagues are saying here in the House and elsewhere about improving the number of refineries, then maybe they'd be willing to have these refineries owned publicly, owned by the people of the United States, so that the people of the United States can determine how much of the product is refined and put out on the market.

"To me, that sounds like a very good idea."

Congressman  Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) on June 18, 2008 in a Press Conference of the Democratic Leadership said:

"Should the people of the United States own refineries?  Maybe so.  Frankly, I think that's a good idea.  Then we could control the amount of refined product much more capably that gets out on the market...

Democrats openly call for redistribution of wealth in our Nation, they call for socialized medicine, socialized energy, and in general, the Democratic Party openly advocates the federal government's  involvement in each and every facet of our lives.   Period.  What part of this  can you Tommy, with a straight face, argue is NOT socialism?

By example, here in Senator Obama's own words, he openly advocates a redistribution of wealth:

http://www.breitbart.tv/html/195153.html

Of course, Vice President Biden believes that a socialist, "redistribution of wealth" plan, is the "patriotic thing to do":

There is no question that President Obama is calling for the very tenets of socialism, which is the forerunner of communism, and a economic and political system that has failed miserably throughout recorded history.   President Obama's,  and many Democrats' belief,  is that "Socialism, Communism, Marxism, Trotskyism, and Stalinism were all wonderful political, social and economic systems, we just haven't had the right folks try and implement them yet!"

====================

You can sit and deny yours and President Obama's Marxist/socialist propagandist beliefs and try and sugar coat them all you want to Tom, the fact remains that the Obama Administration is exactly that, Marxist.   His failed Keynesian economic policies won't work,  and I encourage you to read the post I submitted earlier from President Obama's classmate,  Mr. Wayne Allyn Root, in the thread captioned:  "OBAMA'S COLLEGE CLASSMATE SPEAKS OUT", and found here:

Tommy, you must truly live in a cave. "The failed Bush administration polices" were only slightly less socialistic/Marxist as those being foisted upon us under the Obama administration. The GOP advocates a return to the failed Bush Administration policies, which led to the current mess.
The greedy self serving Republicans are to blame.

Wake up, Keith.

The Republicans clearly are speaking for the American Public, whereas the Socialist-Elitists in power have not, forcing this socialized medicine down the  Americans' proverbial throats.   By example, everyone should see a major jump in their health insurance premiums at the end of this month/1st of October, thanks in total to the Obama Administration!

Thank God we only have a couple few more months of this, before we make this Marxist Administration "Lame Duck"!   Let us pray that we can limit the damage he and his Administration does in the next two years!  And let us all be thankful that Americans are waking up to the evils of the Obama Administration, and the naivity of Sugarshack, Tommy, and a host of other misguided Socialists/'Marxists!!

One of the most repeated criticisms you hear from Republican leaders
and
opponents of the historic Affordable Care Act that will expand health
insurance  coverage to 30 million Americans and end unfair insurance
company
practices that  deny coverage to those in need is that Congress passed
it despite
the "objection  of the American people." The "objection" cited is a
reference to public opinion  polling that showed mixed levels of
support for the
healthcare reform  bill.

But when Republicans in Congress are faced with objections from the
 public
about their proposals to go relive the Bush era of financial
stewardship,
they ignore the public's wishes.

The Hill's Jay Heflin _reports results of a new Gallup  poll_
(http://thehill.com/blogs/on-the-money/domestic-taxes/117995-new-
poll-...
ort-ending-tax-cuts-for-the-wealthy)  show overwhelming opposition to
stopping the imminent Bush tax  increases for the wealthiest
Americans. According
to the reporting, Gallup's  poll shows that "59 percent [of those
polled]
favor ending tax cuts for the  rich." The poll indicated that 56
percent of
independents and even 44 percent of  Republicans polled would prefer
an end
to tax breaks for the wealthy. Those  looming tax increases are part
of a
set of tax increases put in place by  President Bush and the
Republican
Congress in 2001 that will raise taxes on  nearly every American
taxpayer in 2011.

Instead of supporting the tax  cuts for lower- and middle-class
Americans
and small businesses proposed by  President Obama and the Democratic
Congress
to prevent the Bush tax increases,  Republicans are set to block those
tax
cuts for American families unless the  president backs the highly
unpopular
tax breaks for millionaires. The polling  says Americans want to end
the tax
breaks for the rich. Why are Republicans in  Congress not listening to
the
will of the American people?

Just like  their opposition to the toughest Wall Street reform bill
since
the Depression  and their refusal to pass the small-business bill that
would
immediately create  jobs and inject much-needed capital to the growth
engines of our economy,  Republicans are playing politics and opposing
the will of
the public when it  comes to tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans.
They
believe that if the  economy continues to recover slowly, they'll win
more
seats in November.

The president and the Democrats in Congress are listening to the
people
and putting the country, not politics, first. They favor halting the
Bush tax
increases for lower- and middle-class Americans and small businesses
and
allowing the Bush tax increases on the wealthy. Gallup says the
Democrats'
proposal "is the specific option the public prefers most."

Maybe it's  time for Republicans in Washington to start listening to
the
American public and  start doing what's right for this economy.
