(A) Divorce not involving "legalized" marriage is easy: Move out! If there is mutually owned property, you can always file a lawsuit to prove claim to your rightful share. The only thing legalized marriage does is enter a third party into the equation prior to litigation.
(B) It is not the business of government to dictate who I can or cannot live with.
(C) It is all about revenue and control.
