I call that bird a duck." In 1964 Cardinal Richard Cushing made a similar reference to the Communist dictator of Cuba, Fidel Castro. This was when Castro was still trying to pass himself off as a freedom fighter, instead of the Communist monster he really was. Someone has humorously called this saying the Duck Test. Actually it is a very sound form of inductive reasoning. If any person consistently displays a certain set of behaviors there is a high probability those actions and values will define that individual. Think about this question in relation to the controversy swirling about whether President Obama is a Muslim ? Mr. Obama has consistently in words and deeds sided with the Muslim world. In fact, he usually approves of the Muslim Brotherhood which has openly sworn to destroy this country. The Brotherhood would replace our Constitutional Republic with the capricious of a cruel and inhumane Sharia Law. If it looks a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. There is a high probability that Obama has feathers and webbed feet. Be sure to tune into the Democratic National Convention next week to see if 20,000 ducks (uh Muslims) show up to back the magnificent Great One's play. In hoc signo, Constantine COURAGE, the virtue without which all the others are meaningless. | | | |
