From the same twisted mind that brought the underwear bomb into public consciousness comes a possible plot to rig other items - including pets - with explosives.
On the heels of revelations that al-Qaeda was preparing to strike on the anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death come new reports about more bold plans from the notorious terror group.
ABC News reported that Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri, al-Qaeda's chief bombmaker who is believed to be behind both underwear bomb plots, was working on new explosives that they hoped would pass an airport security screening.

U.S. authorities told the network that al-Asiri's latest projects involve bombs surgically placed inside terrorists and devices similarly implanted in pets that could be carried on planes.
Al-Asiri was also hoping to rig computer supplies like external hard drives and cameras with bomb components.
Seth Jones, former senior adviser to the U.S. Special Operations Command and author of Hunting in the Shadows: The Pursuit of al Qa'ida since 9/11, told ABC: '[Al-Asiri] is very innovative in trying to find some way to get a bomb onto an airplane that will evade detection from airport screeners.'

The new underwear bomb plot was discovered this week after a double agent working for both U.S. and Saudi intelligence was placed inside Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) where he convinced his handlers to give him the 'undetectable' bomb.
The agent, who was in Yemen, was liaising with the CIA before handing the device over to intelligence services.

It is NOT difficult to get a better control of the in-security of Muslim extremism: just stop bringing them in. Right now, the United States allow more residency and citizenship to Muslims than to people from any other country. How? Their visa program. This program calculates approvals per percentage of population in a country, rather than cultural aptitude. So Muslim countries get a higher percentage applicant approvals than others.
It's appalling and dangerous.

The religion of peaceniks do not as a group value pets, so any one of them traveling with a pet should automatically send off bells and whistles. I would think that any of their 'pets' would bolt from them at the first opportunity

The Jihadis really are DIRTY BASTARDS!
They hate dogs & cats unless they can make a BOMB out of them.
This is so BAD ,on SO MANY LEVELS, and DANGEROUS, as summer and Public outdoor events (where people may bring their dogs,such as Street Fairs /Festivals)is upon us.
In addition to creating another new form of ATTACKING us,poor dogs & cats in need of adoption will go UNADOPTED, because of people's FEARS over where the dogs and cats have been,and WHO may have had them.

The last time jihadists tried K-9 implanted bombs targetting a Baghdad to Los Angeles flight, the dogs were not loaded onto the aircraft. The jihadists were thwarted by the premature death of the animals they consider unclean. Atlas Nov 6th 2010
I think it likely that they'll try bomb implants in a family member's body shipped by air. We'll have to watch out for post-mortem jihad.

Yet again, these cowardly sub-humans target the most vulnerable and defenseless victims. Human depravity and evil knows no bounds.
Some people call the jihadists "animals". It is an insult to animals!
I hope there won't be the end of the world in 7 months, as per the Mayan calendar, but I can see why it should happen. There is so much hatred and unspeakable evil, it is really out of control.
