First, I wanted to see Newt Gingrich as the Republican nominee, no doubt about it. I still don't think the Fat Lady has sang yet, as anything can happen come August here in Tampa.
I never predicted that Newt was going to win the nomination, (there are numerous posts where I stated as much); but I openly admit, that I was asking you, (and PlainOl) to start practicing saying" President Gingrich"; and much to my delight, it pissed you off to no end! <Grin>!
Despite yours (and M.J.'s) prediction that the Republican nominee will lose to the current communistic Obama Administration, I have faith that the American people have had all of this communist that they can enjoy. Yes, I do predict that the Republican nominee will win, barring some unforseen circumstances.
I also predicted that the House would swap aisles; that the Senate would make strong gains, at least a year and a half before the 2010 election. My track record is pretty damn good, especially as compared to yours, as you haven't a clue what mainstream Americans think.
