The population of this area runs into million and mostly government employees are living here. The vehicular traffic rush increases on Chak Shahzad Double Road in the early hours of morning and at closing hours of offices and we have to face great difficulty in crossing this double road, said Gul Sher, a resident of Dams colony.
This road becomes impassable for us and we can not cross this road in the morning when our school opens due to overspeeding vehicles, therefore, we have to wait for hours and this way we miss one or two periods of our class, said a group of girls students. "We are low paid employees and we come from Dams colony but due to traffic rush on this road we can not cross it to move to other side of the road to catch wagon, said a group of residents of Dams colony.
We have to hire taxi at high fares to cross this road to move to hospital as it becomes impassable for us due to fast vehicular traffic, said an ageing person.
