Good Afternoon PlainOl,
Actually, we are not as far apart on this issue as it may appear. I guess the one distinction, is that I do believe right now, that we do have some right to entitlement for our spoils. I think Donald Trump has expressed it quite well, but the point being, is that whether we like it, or don't like it, our world, and especially our American way of life, is geared and based on petroleum hydrocarbons, from the clothes you wear on your back, to the food you eat, to the transportation you depend upon.....Each and every facet of our lives are based on petroleum hydrocarbons, and it is imperative, until such time as we can become energy independent, that the flow of oil from the Middle East, (e.g.; Southwest Asia/Northern Africa) remain open and contiguous.
Please note that Gingrich's Energy plan (of which I sent the link to above) is predominately focused upon American self reliance, but also sustainable energy platforms here in North America and our own hemisphere.
The main positive aspect of Gingrich's campaign, is that he has focused on trying to find solutions to issues we as a Nation face in the New Milennium. Conservative solutions, as compared to the same, old, tired and I might add failed policies of the Democrat/Socialist/Communist movements that have not had an original thought in seventy years. Most of Gingrich's ideas I agree with, some I don't, but I do think that a Gingrich Administration will revitalize the United States much as Reagan did in 1980-1981.

Have you read Gingrich's energy policy?---
yes, I've read it
his economic policies don't bother me ... it's his support of
interventionism that makes him the enemy
