Let me tell you a real story, it is a story of one nephew and maternal uncle. Nephew is richer than his uncle and and his mother had kidney decease and was on Dialysis treatment which was costly. When his mother was alive no maternal Uncle or Antie offered any helping hand for medical expenses (maybe because he is rich) which the nephew bored till the end but when his mother died all of them and other family members far and wide came and offered him even made arrangements themselves for burial and many other costly traditions relating to burial etc. like teja, daswa, chaliswa etc.etc. (forgetting totally that he is even richer by now).
We are my dear sir dead loving people and politicians are also from us, they are aware of this culture of ours and milk it whenever they get a chance.
Let us all pray that the love and respect we show to our dead ones, we will be able to (somehow) motivated to show the same or even a fraction to alive ones.

LETTER TO EDITOR

Politics of the Grave
Mian Nawaz Sharif has found a sister in late Benazir Bhutto and vowed to unearth her murderers and hang them if returned to power. A feat which the PPP could not perform in its near 4 year rule by now. However, the PPP Jialas in and out of the government were not far behind in terming the expression a wacky verbosity amounting to exploiting the grave of the departed soul. One wonders how would late Abba Ji take to his newly found ‘daughter’ in forgiving her the atrocity of literally dragging him out of the office and bundling him to jail ?! Also MNS seems to have a golden heart for forgiving and forgetting all the judicial indictments against him and the family by the BB during her tenure. Same I hope would be the response of the Zardari Bhutto clan in exonerating the MSN, Saif ur Rehman and Co. for framing them up in numerous cases resulting in the exiles of BB and Nusrat Bhutto apart from the infamous 11 year incarceration of AAZ?!
Hope it is true and not for duping the masses once again. If it is, then politics certainly make strange bed fellows.
