Esteemed All, Assalaam o alaikum.
I respect your feelings, emotions and knowledge, as well as, your attachment with ISLAM, hence, I humbly invite your attention to the following verses of Holy Quraan, to divulge that Neither Allah allows us to impose our wishes or teachings on others, nor, we are permitted to be coercive / apply compulsion in Religion, nor, factions, sects, division or sections (firqas) are "Halaal' rather we are forbidden to create such divisions in Islam. Simultaneously, we are also required to take account of our own conduct / deeds, instead of requiring others to be good :-
Verse No.44 of Sura#2 "Al-Baqara" :- "WHAT! DO YOU ENJOIN (DIRECT / PRESCRIBE / REQUIRE) ON PEOPLE TO BE GOOD AND NEGLECT YOURSELF, WHILE YOU READ (STUDY) THE SCRIPTURE (BOOK) ? WILL YOU NOT UNDERSTAND ? ".
کیا لوگوں کو تم نیکی کا حکم کرتے ہو اور اپنے آپ کو بھول جاتے ہو حالانکہ تم کتاب پڑھتے ہو پھر کیوں نہیں سمجھتے

IN RELIGION --- PROHIBITED.
Verse No.256 of Sura#2 "Al-Baqara" :- "THERE IS NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION, VERILY, THE RIGHT-PATH HAS BECOME CLEARLY DISTINCT FROM ERROR. WHOWEVER DISBLIEVES IN TAGHUT (SHAITAN) AND BELIEVES IN ALLAH HE INDEED HAS GRASPED THE MOST TRUSTWORTHY HANDHOLD WHICH WILL NEVER BREAK. AND ALLAH IS ALL-HEARER, ALL-KNOWER".
دین کے معاملے میں زبردستی نہیں ہے , بے شک ہدایت یقیناً گمراہی سے ممتاز ہو چکی ہے, پھر جو شخص شیطان کو نہ مانے اور الله پر ایمان لائے تو اس نے مضبوط حلقہ پکڑ لیاجو ٹوٹنے والا نہیں اور الله سننے والا جاننے والا ہے
Verse No.99 of Sura#10 "Younus" :- "IF IT HAD BEEN THY LORD'S WILL, SURELY ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN THE EARTH WOULD HAVE BELIEVED, WOULD YOU THEN COMPEL MANKIND, AGAINST THEIR WILL, TO BELIEVE ".

Verse No.100 of Sura#10 "Younus" :- "NO SOUL CAN BELIEVE, EXCEPT BY THE WILL OF ALLAH, AND HE (ALLAH) WILL PLACE DOUBT (OR OBSCURITY) ON THOSE WHO WILL NOT UNDERSTAND"..
اورکسی کے بھی بس میں نہیں کہ الله کے حکم کے سوا ایمان لے آئے اور الله انکے لیے کفر کا فیصلہ کرتا ہے جو نہیں سوچتے,
Verse No.101 of Sura#10 "Younus" :- "SAY: "BEHOLD ALL THAT IS IN THE HEAVENS AND ON EARTH"; BUT NEITHER SIGNS NOR WARNERS PROFIT THOSE WHO BELIEVE NOT".
کہہ دو دیکھو کہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں کیا کچھ ہے اور بے ایمان قوم کو معجزے اور ڈرانے والے کچھ فائدہ نہیں دیتے.
Verse No.21 of Sura#88 "Al-Ghashiya" :- " REMIND THEM, YOU ARE BUT ONE WHO REMINDS ".
پس آپ نصیحت کیجئے بے شک آپ تو نصیحت کرنے والے ہیں
Verse No.22 of Sura#88 "Al-Ghashiya" :- " YOU ARE NOT A WARDER (DICTATOR) OVER THEM ".
آپ ان پر کوئی داروغہ نہیں ہیں-
Verse No.23 to 26 of Sura#88 "Al-Ghashiya" :-
" BUT WHOEVER TURNS BACK AND DISBELEIVES, ALLAH WILL PUNISH HIM WITH MIGHTY PUNISHMENT, SURELY TO US WILL BE THEIR RETURN, THEN SURELY IT WILL BE FOR US TO TAKE THEIR ACCOUNT ".
مگر جس نے منہ موڑا اورانکار کیا, سو اسے الله بہت بڑا عذاب دے گا,
بےشک ہماری طرف ہی ان کو لوٹ کر آنا ہے, پھر ہمارےہی ذمہ ان کا حساب لینا ہے.
Verse No.45 of Sura#50 "QAF" :- " WE KNOW BEST WHAT THEY SAY, AND YOU (O MUHAMMAD S.A.W.) ARE NOT ONE TO COMPEL THEM, THEREFORE WARN HIM BY QURAAN WHO FEAR MY THREAT ".
ہم جانتے ہیں جو کچھ وہ کہتے ہیں اور آپ ان پر کچھ زبردستی کرنے والے نہیں پھر آپ قرآن سے اس کو نصیحت کیجیئے جو میرے عذاب سے ڈرتا ہو

Verse No.100 of Sura#3 "AAL-E-IMRAAN" :-
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقًا "O YOU WHO BELIEVE! IF YOU LISTEN TO A FACTION (SECT) AMONG THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK, THEY WOULD (INDEED) RENDER YOU APOSTATES AFTER YOU HAVE BELIEVED!".
اے ایمان والو اگر تم اہل ِ کتاب کے کسی فرقے (جماعت) کا بھی کہا مانو گے تو وہ تمہیں ایمان لانے کے بعد کافر کر دیں گے.
Verse No.102 of Sura#3 "AAL-E-IMRAAN" :- "O YOU WHO BELIEVE! FEAR ALLAH AS HE SHOULD BE FEARED, AND DIE NOT EXCEPT IN A STATE OF MUSLIM ".
اے ایمان والو الله سے ڈرتے رہو جیسا اس سے ڈرنا چاہیئے اور نہ مرو مگر ایسے حال میں کہ تم مسملمان ہو.
Verse No.103 of Sura#3 "AAL-E-IMRAAN" :-
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا "AND HOLD FAST, ALL TOGETHER, BY THE ROPE ( CABLE / CODE) OF ALLAH, AND BE NOT DIVIDED INTO SECTS (FACTIONS) AMONG YOURSELVES; AND REMEMBER WITH GRATITUDE ALLAH'S FAVOUR ON YOU; FOR YOU WERE ENEMIES AND HE JOINED YOUR HEARTS IN LOVE, SO THAT BY HIS GRACE, YOU BECAME BRETHREN; AND YOU WERE ON THE BRINK OF THE PIT OF FIRE, AND HE SAVED YOU FROM IT. THUS ALLAH MAKES HIS SIGNS CLEAR TO YOU: THAT YOU MAY BE GUIDED ".
اور سب مل کر الله کی رسی مضبوط پکڑو اور فرقے ( پھوٹ) نہ ڈالو اور الله کا احسان اپنے اوپر یاد کرو جب کہ تم آپس میں دشمن تھے پھر تمہارے دلوں میں الفت ڈال دی پھر تم اس کے فضل سے بھائی بھائی ہو گئے اور تم آگ کے گڑھے کے کنارے پر تھے پھر تم کو اس سے نجات دی اس طرح تم پر الله اپنی نشانیاں بیان کرتا ہے تاکہ تم ہدایت پاؤ.
Verse No.19 of Sura#3 "AAL-E-IMRAAN" :-
" إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِندَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ THE RELIGION BEFORE ALLAH IS ISLAM (SUBMISSION TO HIS WILL): NOR DID THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK DISSENT (CONFLICT / DIVISION) THEREFROM EXCEPT THROUGH ENVY OF EACH OTHER, AFTER KNOWLEDGE HAD COME TO THEM. BUT IF ANY DENY THE SIGNS OF ALLAH, ALLAH IS SWIFT IN CALLING TO ACCOUNT ".
بےشک دین الله کے ہاں اسلام ہی ہے اور جنہیں کتاب دی گئی تھی انہوں نے صحیح علم ہونے کے بعد آپس کی ضد کے باعث فرقے ( اختلاف) کیا اور جو شخص الله کے حکموں کا انکار کرے تو الله جلد ہی حساب لینے والا ہے
Verse No.85 of Sura#3 "AAL-E-IMRAAN" :- "IF ANYONE DESIRES A RELIGION OTHER THAN ISLAM, IT SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED FROM HIM; AND IN THE HEREAFTER HE SHALL BE ONE OF THE LOSERS ".
اور جو کوئی اسلام کے سوا اور کوئی دین چاہے تو وہ اس سے ہر گز قبول نہیں کیا جائے گا اور وہ آخرت میں نقصان اٹھانے والوں میں سے ہوگا
Verse No.159 of Sura#6 "AL-ANAAM" :-
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ " SURELY THOSE WHO DIVIDED THEIR RELIGION AND BECAME SECTS, YOU HAVE NO CONCERN WITH THEM, THEIR AFFAIR IS ONLY WITH ALLAH, WHO THEN WILL TELL THEM WHAT THEY USED TO DO ".
جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور کئی فرقے بن گئے تیرا ان سے کوئی تعلق نہیں اس کا کام الله ہی کے حوالے ہے پھر وہی انہیں بتلائے گا جو کچھ وہ کرتے تھے.
Verse No.3 of Sura#5 "AL-MAEDA" :-
الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا ۚ
"Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful ".
تم پر مردار اور لہو اور سور کا گوشت حرام کیا گیا ہے اور وہ جانور جس پر الله کے سوا کسی اور کا نام پکارا جائے جو گلا گھوٹ کر یا چوٹ سے یا بلندی سے گر کر یا سینگ مارنے سے مر گیا ہو اور وہ جسے کسی درندے نے پھاڑ ڈالا ہو مگر جسے تم نے ذبح کر لیا ہو اور وہ جو کسی تھان پر ذبح کیا جائے اور یہ کہ جوئے کے تیروں سے تقسیم کرو یہ سب گناہ ہیں آج تمہارے دین سے کافر نا امید ہو گئے سو ان سے نہ ڈرو اور مجھ سے ڈرو - آج میں تمہارے لیے تمہارا دین پورا کر چکا اور میں نے تم پر اپنا احسان پورا کر دیا اور میں نے تمہارے واسطے اسلام ہی کو دین پسند کیا ہے, پھر جو کوئی بھوک سے بیتاب ہو جائے لیکن گناہ پر مائل نہ ہو تو الله معاف کرنے والا مہربان ہے
Verse No.77 of Sura#5 "AL-MAEDA" :- " SAY: "O PEOPLE OF THE BOOK! EXCEED NOT IN YOUR RELIGION THE BOUNDS (OF WHAT IS PROPER), TRESPASSING BEYOND THE TRUTH, NOR FOLLOW THE VAIN DESIRES OF PEOPLE WHO WENT WRONG IN TIMES GONE BY,- WHO MISLED MANY, AND STRAYED (THEMSELVES) FROM THE EVEN WAY".
کہہ اے اہلِ کتاب تم اپنے دین میں ناحق زیادتی مت کرو اور ان لوگو ں کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کرو جو اس سے پہلے گمراہ ہو چکے اور انہوں نے بہتوں کو گمراہ کیا اور سیدھی راہ سے دور ہو گئے.
Verse No. 78 of Sura#22 "AL-HAJJ" :- "AND STRIVE IN HIS CAUSE AS YE OUGHT TO STRIVE, (WITH SINCERITY AND UNDER DISCIPLINE). HE HAS CHOSEN YOU, AND HAS IMPOSED NO DIFFICULTIES ON YOU IN RELIGION; IT IS THE CULT OF YOUR FATHER ABRAHAM. IT IS HE WHO HAS NAMED YOU MUSLIMS (WITHOUT ANY SECT), BOTH BEFORE AND IN THIS (REVELATION); THAT THE MESSENGER MAY BE A WITNESS FOR YOU, AND YE BE WITNESSES FOR MANKIND! SO ESTABLISH REGULAR PRAYER, GIVE REGULAR CHARITY, AND HOLD FAST TO ALLAH. HE IS YOUR PROTECTOR - THE BEST TO PROTECT AND THE BEST TO HELP!".
اور الله کی راہ میں کوشش کرو جیسا کوشش کرنے کا حق ہے اس نے تمہیں پسند کیا ہے اور دین میں تم پر کسی طرح کی سختی نہیں کی تمہارے باپ ابراھیم کا دین ہے اسی نے تمہارا نام پہلے سےمسلمان رکھا تھا اوراس قرآن میں بھی تاکہ رسول تم پر گواہ بنے اور تم لوگو ں پر گواہ بنو پس نماز قائم کرو اور زکوٰة دو اور الله کو مضبوط ہو کر پکڑو وہی تمہارا مولیٰ ہے پھر کیا ہی اچھامولیٰ اور کیا ہی اچھا مددگار ہے.
Verse No. 32 of Sura#30 "AL-ROOM" :-
مِنَ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا "THOSE WHO SPLIT UP THEIR RELIGION, AND BECOME (MERE) SECTS, - EACH SECT IS REJOICING IN THAT WHICH IS WITH ITSELF!".
جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور کئی فرقے ہو گئے, سب فرقے اسی سے خوش ہیں جو ان کے پا س ہے.
Verse No. 13 of Sura#42 "Ash-Shura" :-
أَنْ أَقِيمُوا الدِّينَ وَلَا تَتَفَرَّقُوا فِيهِ " THE SAME RELIGION HAS HE ESTABLISHED FOR YOU AS THAT WHICH HE ENJOINED ON NOAH - THE WHICH WE HAVE SENT BY INSPIRATION TO YOU - AND THAT WHICH WE ENJOINED ON ABRAHAM, MOSES, AND JESUS: NAMELY, THAT YOU SHOULD REMAIN STEADFAST IN RELIGION, AND MAKE NO DIVISIONS (SECTS) THEREIN: TO THOSE WHO WORSHIP OTHER THINGS THAN ALLAH, HARD IS THE (WAY) TO WHICH THOU CALLEST THEM. ALLAH CHOOSES TO HIMSELF THOSE WHOM HE PLEASES, AND GUIDES TO HIMSELF THOSE WHO TURN (TO HIM)".
تمہارے لیے وہی دین مقرر کیا جس کا نوح کو حکم دیا تھا اور اسی راستہ کی ہم نے آپ کی طرف وحی کی ہے اور اسی کا ہم نے ابراھیم اور موسیٰ اور عیسیٰ کو حکم دیا تھا کہ اسی دین پر قائم رہو اور اس میں فرقے (پھوٹ) نہ ڈالنا جس چیز کی طرف آپ مشرکوں کو بلاتے ہیں وہ ان پر گراں گزرتی ہے الله جسے چاہے اپنی طرف کھینچ لیتا ہے اور جو اس کی طرف رجوع کرتا ہے اسے راہ دکھاتا ہے.

I am grateful to Col. Riaz Jafri , Zubair Mukhtar and other friends that they provided me the opportunity to share above mentioned commandments, verses and teaching of Islam on the issues raised in connection with the subject matter.
We as Muslim need not compete / ape / reciprocate the activities of others – if the same are not in accordance with the teachings of ISLAM. If at all , some one feels any activity contrary to our Constitution or Law of Land, he would be more appropriate to file a Constitutional Petition (Matter of Public Interest) before any High Court of Pakistan.
However, if my friends still feel that our Religion (Islam) permits Firqas, Sects, Divisions and animosity amongst Muslims, or, if they are convinced that Islam permits us
Compulsion, duress or coercion to impose the tenets of Islam on disbelievers, - I (being a knowledge-seeker) shall be enlightened and guided, if such verses from Holy Quraan are high-lighted by my friends, as a matter of SAWAAB.

Let us live and let others live also. States are peices of land. Islam is not for states, but, for Human-beings. Let us not hate or segregate any group of persons because (you feel) we have comparatively acquired better knowledge of Islam.
Instead we should join those less-informed and convey / guide them politely and humbly towards the teachings of Islam. Neither America nor Pakistan are hostile to each other. In fact America has accomodated more Pakistanis in America. Let us not propagate hatred for any Nation or Country, because, Islam does not teach us to be aggressive or intolerant but let us be tolerant, peaceful, useful and wellwisher for every human-being.
Let us first try to eliminate "Sectarianism, linguisticism, Provincialism, Intolerance, Bhatta-khori, Target-killing, Suicidal-attacks, Karo-kari, Dishonesty, Hypocricy, Fraud, etc in Muslims / Pakistanis.
To call any country an Islamic-state is not a service to Islam, because, "Somalia" is also an Islamic-state, but, piracy / ransom is their national source of income.
Let us not be proud at all - because Iblis (Shaitaan) was the 'first proud' and all prouds are "KAAFREEN".

USembassy Islamabad reportedly held a "Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Pride Celebration" ceremony on June 26th 2011 to show Washington's support and solidarity towards the GLBTs of Pakistan. Could there be anything more stupid than this for the USA to do in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where such homosexuality is not only looked down upon with utmost scorn and contempt but also considered an awful sin? How many GLBTs would be in Pakistan? Not even Zero Zero One per cent. And for that miniscule number the USA took the risk of antagonising 99.99 percent people of Pakistan! Could the embassy not foresee the negative impact of such a function on the US-Pak relations which are already not very congenial? One simply fails to understand if the event was held out of sheer ignorance or by design – in any case both being highly unwise, undiplomatic and unwarranted.
