A message to all members of GovLoop - Social Network for Government | GovLoopers I hate that I'm having to send you this message...but the shutdown is really looking like it's gonna happen. And I know you're going to need to communicate with each other using unofficial tools BUT don't do anything that would put your job in jeopardy. So while talking about specifics and or working is off limits I would still encourage you to talk to each other and help one another through this rough patch.
We'll be all over the shutdown here at GovLoop with perspective from govies and also official information so you can check our homepage or our shutdown page for the latest news and comments. Also, please check with us as their appears to be a lot of people who would like to organize and do something to volunteer in our communities...so we hope to help in organizing and promoting that. Here's three posts that have already sprung up. Lastly since a lot of you use your work address to get GovLoop updates and our newsletter you might be handcuffed in your use of the site BUT just check back often and we'll have a link on the homepage to our Monday Newsletter and any other Newsletters we send as long as the shutdown lasts.
