Free Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's Is Tomorrow, April 12
It's a no-good, rotten shame that this isn't happening today -- what with the mid-80s temperatures and the pleasant breeze being the perfect conditions for waiting outside and eating ice cream and all -- but Ben and Jerry's annual Free Cone Day will take place tomorrow, April 12. Between noon and 8 p.m., you can stop by any of Ben and Jerry's four D.C. locations -- at the Old Post Office (1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW), Dupont Circle (1333 19th Street NW), Georgetown (3135 M Street NW), or Union Station -- and pick up a free cone loaded with any flavor you'd like. And though incredibly long lines are the norm for this annual treat, maybe the thunderstorms will thin things out a bit. Bring an umbrella!
