Hey CW!
I ventured into an American style sports bar last night here in Köln, to see if I could watch any of the games. To my surprise, there was a rather large turn-out! It seems that Köln has two "American Futbol" leagues, one that is junior for the kids, and one for the men. There were a lot of dads and sons at the bar to watch the Seahawks/Saint's game, and I did catch the first half of the game at the bar....(Thankfully, Co-Moderator "The Annointed One" was able to fill me in on the final score!).
I will now be rooting for the dawgs, the Seahawks, being that they are some pitiful cut, and slapped the Ain'ts. I would also like to see the Pack whip Philly today, I hate everything about Philly, but that's another story.
As a side note, if I were scouting for the Bucs (or the Brownies) I could have found a couple of guys (and gals) last night at the American sports bar, who could have easily been an improvement over the Bucs and Browns offensive and defensive lines CW!! There was one gal in particular, who looked as if she wanted to pick me up and toss me around a little...
On the apartment hunting front: It's a pain in the ass, and I am beginning to feel panic set in. I like this place a lot:

The Bears will be my team for this year’s Super Bowl. The Bears don’t play this weekend. I will probably watch Baltimore get their butts handed to them (I hope) today.

NFL Playoff Schedule: Wild Card Week
by Charlie Wilmoth • Jan 7, 2011 2:16 PM EST
Here's the TV schedule for the first week of the NFL playoffs. The Steelers will be on the sidelines, but fans will be watching the AFC games closely to see who the Steelers' first opponent will be.
Saturday: The New Orleans Saints play the Seattle Seahawks at 4:30 (NBC). The New York Jets play the Indianapolis Colts at 8:00 (also on NBC). If the Jets advance, they cannot face the Steelers next week. If the Colts advance, they would automatically play the Steelers next week. The Kansas City Chiefs would be a better matchup for the Steelers, but the Colts aren't especially scary.
On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens take on the Chiefs at 1:00 (CBS). Of course Steelers fans have no love for the Ravens, but I would be interested in seeing Baltimore take a shot at knocking off the New England Patriots next week; I'm not especially confident that the Chiefs could do it. The Jets were one of two teams (along with the Cleveland Browns, weirdly enough) to beat the Patriots this year, but I wonder whether they would be able to do it twice.
Also on Sunday, the Green Bay Packers play the Philadelphia Eagles at 4:30 PM (FOX).
