I find it amazing that there is no real public information regarding the dosage rate of these "safe" scanners. For example, are they the equivalent of a tenth of an x-ray? Then I would know if I fly 30 times a year that I would receive the equivalent of 3 additional x-rays a year. I am no luddite, but we are being exposed to a health risk without real discussion and without evaluation of the alternatives, ie what is the real statistical risk of dying from terrorism. | |
