The vote against cloture in the Senate by the Republicans, the Independents, and the two or three Democrats was the patriotic thing to do. The Amendments to the Bill were pork laden, with an illegal alien amnesty provision stuck into the Defense Appropriations Bill. ANYONE who would have supported that Bill, including Dick Durbin, Harry Reed, and the other Marxists are Anti-American, and should be investigated for Treason.
ANYONE who supports these ignorant treasonous assholes, (because of one small piece of the proposed legislation, e.g.; the DADT provision) is clearly uninformed, and is a Moonbat, period.
