This is an open interference in our affairs...who cares whom they support or not, but who has allowed them to speak on such matters..where are your politicians and parliament, and where is our government to warn US against interference in our country`s affairs.....do they even have courage to speak a word against US...are they all totally sold out....these are questions to ask

US rejects Altaf's call for martial law

WASHINGTON – A State Department spokesman indicated Thursday that the United States would not support a military coup in Pakistan when it rejected MQM leader Altaf Hussain's call for martial law in the country.
"Pakistan has a civilian government and we think it is the best form of government to take," Assistant Secretary of State Philip J Crowley said in a one-sentence answer to a question about Altaf's controversial proposal.
