Tea Party protestor assaulted, defends wife and gets a summons
The Wealth of Nathan Tabor
By Judi McLeod Friday, June 11, 2010
Former congressional candidate and longtime Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Nathan Tabor was assaulted in front of his wife and daughter at a Greensboro Tea Party gathering, protesting the proposed government bailout of credit cards.
You can see what Tabor describes as the "sucker punch" from the in-yer-face attacker.
Wearing his swollen face like a badge of honour when being interviewed by Neil Cavuto on FoxNews, the Greensboro, NC resident was more concerned that his wife, Jordan and 5-year-old daughter, Abigail had to see the assault.
That is so typical of Nathan Tabor. It was only a few weeks ago when this worried Dad asked FaceBook readers for prayers for Abigail, who was inconsolable when a trip to the vet ended with having to have her pet cat put down. Unbeknownst to the little girl the cat was riddled with cancer.
"She's only 5 and doesn't understand," Tabor wrote on FaceBook.

Tabor, who was not even in the center of the Tea Party gathering, has the video to prove that his wife had been pushed three times by the obviously angry man, who had been telling the crowd "we're in this mess because of clown George Bush…"he deregulated everything."
During the protest, a man parked his vehicle, walked in off the street and started yelling at the Tea Party protesters.
Tabor was standing about 10 feet away when the man pushed his wife for the first time. "Don't touch my wife," he told the attacker. When the man continued to push his wife, Tabor turned his camera on.
As Cavuto pointed out, "It got even weirder after the fact".
Both attacker, brought there by the police, and victim who voluntarily attended, spent a hour-and-a half wait down at the local magistrate's office. Without watching the video, the magistrates issued a criminal summons for assault for the perpetrator—and a criminal summons for assault for Tabor too.
Cavuto had extended an invitation for his interview to the attacker. A statement from the attacker's lawyer aired on FoxNews stated, "We are going to deal with this in the courtroom. We going to find out being wealthy doesn't make a difference in the courtroom."
Alleged wealth is a factor in alleged assault?
CFP can attest to Nathan Tabor's real wealth. It can be found every morning in the Scripture he sends out on FaceBook. Tabor starts off many people's new day with the Word of Christ. To some, including CFP, that's real wealth.
To Tea Party colleagues, Tabor offers the wealth of true patriotism.
To his wife and little girl, he brings the wealth of devoted husband and father.
Thank you God for Nathan Tabor's boundless wealth.
