Obama, Clinton Employing Scare Tactics to Try and Sway VotersScotty Starnes | October 16, 2010 at 12:13 PM | Tags: arrogant, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Democrat scare tactics, Lefties, Obama Administration, Obamacare, private retirement plans, repeal ObamaCare, Republicans, scare tactics, Social Security Insurance, Tea Party principles | Categories: Uncategorized | URL: http://wp.me/pvnFC-36r |
Have ya heard Bill Clinton and Barack Obama on the stump lately? Barack Obama laid claim to the "scare tactics" way back when soon after the shoving of Obamacare down our throats he got arrogant and said "I dare Republican's to run on repealing health reform." (Paraphrased) Well smartass, they are and it seems to be working quite well. So much for the political acumen and arrogance of the "smartest man in the room."
Would one not fairly call that an effort at "scare tactics?" Seems so to me. How about the scare tactic that "Republican's will privatize social security?"
Consider: Obama has huge majorities in both House and Senate, yet he can't get much of his desired agenda through, so how could Republicans' do the things these pandering lefties accuse? For the record, it would take Republican's picking up 112 seats in the House to repeal any law over what would surely be an Obama veto. And Republican's would need 60 seats in the Senate and that is a mathematical impossibility. So until a Republican president is elected likely nothing the Obama Adminstration has ruined this nation with will be repealed.
Republican's do not want to get rid of SSI. We do want to have young people begin to contribute more heavily to private retirement plans, but they will still need to contribute to SSI unless we are to leave the tens of millions on SSI in the cold and I do not know of any politician in any party advocating anything on that scale. See, more Democrat scare tactics.
Obama is flapping his gums that Republicans want to return us to pre-Obama days and he's damn sure right about that. He's so politically virginal that he doesn't see only his base eats that mantra up....the rest of the nation considers that to be a POSITIVE thing, so Barry, unless you're trying to elect Republicans, maybe ya oughta drop that one. Recall, in a Gallup Poll from 2 weeks ago, "70% of the nation's citizens FAVOR Tea Party principles" so Barry, ya dolt, repealing your efforts are what we want. It's only making Republican's look more attractive the more ya say that. Smartest man in the room, my ass.
