Re: **JP** Letter to Editor - Aitzaz and Supreme Court

Dear Dr. Jamil,

We understand that right now bench headed by Justic Nasir ul Mulk so Aitzaz Ahsan filed their wakalatnama in supreme court as a lawyer of PM. If in future bench forwarded the matter to more larger bench headed by CJ Iftikhar Ahmed, for judgement. What will be the situation for Aitzaz Ahsan? will he withdraw his wakalatnama or should appear before CJ, Iftkhar Ahmed for arguments.  As we all know this matter is not a routine case. First it was heared by Justif Saeed Khosa and after issuing show cause notice to PM, case forwarded to larger bench of 7 judges and we can expect that CJ may be involved in this case once again, if needed by lower bench.  I hope you must know that NRO judgment was given by full court larger bench comprises 17 judges head by CJ, Iftikhar Ahmed who also heard review petition file by Babar Awan and review petition was rejected when Babar Awan not appeared in court.

In short, it must be in mind of Aitzaz Ahsan that during the course of this hearing of contempt case, CJ may be added in larger bench in upcoming hearings, Aitzaz Ahsan should be ready for it either to continue as PM's lawyer forgetting his earlier statement or withdraw his wakalatnama from this case.

Thanks
Malik Saeed

Reference to Col Jafri disinformation like..."Aitzaz Ahsan saying that he will not appear before the CJP in any case?" ...it is for your kind information that CJP is not heading the bench...it is headed by Justice Nasir ul Mulk.....
Reference to Shaikh & Aslam utterances about Haqqani...we Pakis are habitual to Danda's.....and Shaikh is also one of them..he would never accept a democratic ambassador nor democratic set up....he would always like to live in situation having boots and danda's on his back....

Democracy is the only way of Government...even its worst form is better then Danda shahi...Ayubiat (the father of all evils in Pak Govt system/Administration), Yahyaism (giving the life long shame and sorrow to the nation), Ziazilat (Klashenkov, Heroin, opium, hathorra group, shia sunni killings, blasts, religios extremism etc etc) and Pervaziat (the world champion of Beghairats...who's doings are new and you might remember)...so what else we can expect from those who bring that kind of rulers.....for God's Sake dont conspire against democracy.....and the choice of majority people of Pakistan...otherwise soon you will be with out .........what you ruling now

First of all we should look at him whether he is a true Pakistani and a true muslim or not.
As fas as the info available is concerned, he is similar to Husain Haqqani.
If the PM selected a lawyer who is not pro Pakistan, then we can not blame the PM. After all he also selected Husain Haqqani as our ambassador!!!!
The real fault is with us, who voted for PPP

LETTER TO EDITOR
January 18th, 2012

Aitzaz and Supreme Court

"Aitzaz to represent Gilani in contempt case" reads a front page headline in the daily The News of today.
Do I recollect correctly barrister Aitzaz Ahsan saying that he will not appear before the CJP in any case?  This he had said while talking to the Journalists in the Supreme Court of Pakistan that though the CJP had summoned him in Harris Steel Mills case yet, in view of his very close associations with the CJP whose restoration campaign he had led throughout the country, as a matter of principle he will not appear before the Chief Justice of Pakistan in any case (words to that effect).
