ISFLC Attendee,

I have exciting news regarding the upcoming International Students For Liberty ConferenceWe had originally planned to close registration last night. But we have had such high demand for the ISFLC this year and have heard from so many students still wanting to attend, we have made special arrangements with the conference hotel to expand the conference's capacity.  That's right, we will be keeping registration open as long as we can!

Now students and alumni that register by Friday, February 10th will get a name tag and all the informational emails leading up to the conference. After that, students will still be able to register but we'll have to make them a name tag when the arrive on site.  However, this extra space is still limited and is filling up fast, so hurry up and tell your friends and groupmates to register now while they still can.  If the hotel tells us we can't accept more attendees, then we can't accept any more.

Full information and registration is available at http://politicalconferences.org/2011/02/2012-international-conference/.

Also, a reminder that the SFL Awards public voting will be open until Tuesday, February 7th.  The winners will be announced during the opening night of the ISFLC. Cast your vote for the SFL Student Event, Student Group, and Student of the Year now at http://studentsforliberty.org/2012-students-for-liberty-awards/.

Below please find important logistical information regarding the conference.

Tips on group travel to the conference can be found here. Keep in mind that delays and other hiccups are inevitable with travel. You should plan to arrive early to make sure you don't miss out on GORemy's Opening Performance at 5:00pm on Friday evening, and make sure you don't leave the conference until after closing ceremonies end, promptly at 2:00pm on Sunday where we will announce next year's SFL Executive Board and the winner of the first-ever ISFLC Straw Poll! All conference sessions will start and end on time. Hotel room check in at the Hyatt officially begins at 3:00pm but they will gladly hold your bags for you if you arrive sooner on Friday.

Parking Options & Housing - We have added information on parking options near the conference on the housing page here. If you have not reserved your room at the Grand Hyatt yet, you must do so asap as the hotel is almost full.
