Re: Fighting for Freedom?

Any one that has ever gone to boot camp or OCS KNOWS that the uniform
may not be worn at political rallies, etc. if you are to speak. Even
standing on the Dais in silent support while in uniform is considered
wrong.

It is covered in the same class when they teach you to NOT salute the
Admiral (General) who is well known to you if he is in civilian
clothes... The uniform gets the salute..not the man. The inverse is
also true. The ONLY exception to the rule on Uniforms is The
Congressional Medal of Honor.... It can be worn with ANY clothing and
is always to be saluted. The holder may wear it and do as he pleases
where and when he pleases. (regarding Uniform and salute rules)

RE: **JP** FACE THE REALITY (PTI)

You can assure the security of a common man if there is law and order. And it is the vision of PTI . Other countries are not using any rocket science to tackle this issue . They have law and order so people don't dare to do anything wrong .

The whole security issue is related to our role in war on terror .
Dear Salman sahib ,
PTI movement is against status quo. Soon  Nawaz /Zardari  will join hands against  Imran Khan .
Theses people can not bring change because they are part of cartels /interest group/ fuels /cartels /mafia  .They can not act against themselves .
They created whole energy crisis to get 1.9 billion dollars from power rental . Now whole gas crisis to import LNG and make big bucks
Experts from my latest article / See what are issue and how we plan to bring change .

Tax Reforms
As mentioned earlier, Pakistan's GDP to tax ratio is one of lowest in the world. Pakistan's main problem is the low government revenues that exist because of tax evasion, loopholes and exemptions. Only 3 million out of 175 million citizens have a national tax number NTN and the actual number of people who pay any tax at all is even lower. As per utility companies, there are 2.75 million commercial connections and only 0.7 million businesses file taxes. Although agriculture contributes 22 percent of Pakistan's GDP, but only it has only 1 percent role in tax revenue. According to the FBR chief, more than Rs800 billion is lost annually due to tax evasion. Around Rs600 billion is lost in direct taxation evasion, mostly in business income tax (WHD) and around Rs200 billion is lost due to evasion of sale tax, FED and import duties. Corruption is a major factor in tax collection loss. For example, over Rs 50 billion was lost in tax revenue (2007-2011) due to disappearance of 23,952 containers from the Karachi port. In addition to the declared GDP, Pakistan has a huge underground economy which is not reported. Estimates on the underground economy are equal to approximately 50 % of GDP, which is close to Rs3 trillion.
The complexity and fallibility of the tax law currently is the single most important factor responsible for most of the revenue losses. The fact that Pakistan is the world's 26th richest country in the world in purchasing power parity should allow for it to be able to triple its revenue if we can convince the people to pay their taxes and put a proper structure in place.
The current tax system is complex, burdensome, and severely limits economic opportunity. PTI also supports a just, uniformed, consistent and fair tax system. Our tax philosophy is to encourage and motivate citizens to create wealth and share a part of their hard earned income by paying tax at a rate which is acceptable to the majority.  PTI wants to increase the tax-base, meaning that it believes in the increase of tax payers but believes in lowering current tax rates, thereby lowering the burden of those who are paying taxes for so many years. Research indicates that by putting in place a more extensive, progressive and equitable tax structure, revenues can double if not triple. PTI supports capital gain tax, agriculture tax on big land owners (Farm income tax), a decrease in the indirect tax on poor, an end of exemption in taxes for profitable industries like the textile, sugar and cement industries. There should be an end to the tax loop holes for the rich, a tax on luxury goods and mandatory tax filing for all corporations. The Party wants to introduce programs with incentives and privileges and opportunities for only tax payers. FBR needs to be completely revamped so that it is totally independent. We need to link certain privileges that we enjoy as citizens of Pakistan to registration with the tax department.

Menace of Corruption

PTI always had uncompromising stand against the corruption. It believes that most of the suffering of the common man is due to corruption in the government. According to a few independent reports, Pakistan looses close to Rs 300 billion a year because of corruption. Tough stand against corruption has earned PTI a lot of respect among masses. PTI strongly believe that the rule of law should be enforced and no one should be considered above law. Ordnances such as NRO that gave protection to corruption should be repealed and everyone should be held accountable. There is corruption in virtually every department. As per Transparency International, Pakistan recently lost more than $2 billion in 14 contracts related to Rental power project. Corruption is a major factor for the current energy crisis as current regime does not want to find solution to the problem but want to identify ways to make more money from the desperation of the people. The steel mill lost Rs 22 billion because of corruption and the Railways lost Rs 40 billion in procurement of 150 locomotives. The OGDC lost $3 billion because of drillings rigs contracts.  Favouritism, nepotism, misappropriation of public fund, and misuse of power often go an unchecked as agencies and departments responsible for checking corruption are under influence of the same people they are suppose to check. PTI has always demanded independent bodies and judiciary to monitor corruption.

PTI is very fortunate to have a leader like Imran khan who can give hope and reassurance to the people of Pakistan in these uncertain times. PTI has team to bring Pakistan back to the path of economic prosperity. We are very sure of what we are doing, and by putting a plan which includes public education, increase risk and deterrent effect, the removal of incentive and opportunity, monitoring cell, legal prosecution, enforcement of the code of conduct, asset declaration, conflict of interest, protection for whistle blower  and policy of zero tolerance we will achieve our goal. God has blessed Pakistan with so much. All it lacks is the leadership to steer it towards glory. Founder of the nation said, "Nature has given you everything, you've got unlimited resources. The foundations of your State has been laid and it is now up to you to build it and build it as quickly as you can. So Go Ahead, I Wish You God-Speed". PTI has political will and dignity and has a leader who has lead by example. PTI can motivate his nation to come out of this quagmire.

Dear Hassan,

Did I say Zardari is honest to Pakistan ? No , I didnt say it. I know the situation of Pakistan where it is standing right now. What is the guaranty if Imran Khan is fail to do what he said ? if PTI did not perform well, will they resign and say sorry to Pakistani Nation that we are fail ? Allah na karay k aisa ho .. May God give him success. Well, if you talk about charity and other things Edhi is performing very well every one is aware of Abdul Satar Edhi's efforts but it didnt mean that he want to be prime minister etc . the Problem that i have with him why he said bad about any one on asking why he didnt reply of it ? 2nd thing is I never ever seen him talk about terrorism or banned insitiutes How to control the Terrorism . he is asking to remove corruption but how about the security of a common people ? you tel me what is more important for you ? Life or corruption ? obveiuosly Life ..

Dear Friend
Imran khan is true muslim and Pakistani. His all struggle is for the people of Pakistan he gave shukat khanem and nimal university for poor people of Pakistan ,you tell me any one in past or sitting govt has done such things answer is no. Second thing the thiefs sitting in govt who even steal zakat and pension of poor people are willing to help Pakistani people? If some one give them a plan ,are they sincere to implement ? Koreans took the financial program of Pakistan and where are they now? Why Pakistani politician used same plan for their own country? Benazier income program money is stolen, steel mill is bankrupt, railways is history, and PIA is bankrupt , what you think these institutions were not good working in the past ? Steel mill was biggest in Asia in past , PIA was best airline in past. My dear brother Imran khan,s best service to the nation will be to provide an honest leadership to Pakistan . Do you think present govt is honest enough to use any program for their people? If the answer is no then trust me Imran khan is the only hope of Pakistan. Please don't raise these silly questions and if you are sincere yourself then help Imran khan achieve his goals not to doubt his sincerety for Pakistan. When true leaders comes even if they have no plans for nation the country progresses just because of their honesty and earth expel its wealth out on surface if justice is done. So please move towards positive change and the change is just bring one honest leader to lead the nation. Thank you

Dear Haris,

It is not a play ground that every one should be given a chance to play. I know Zardari or Nawaz Shareef are not eligible for this chair. my question is that if Imran Khan have solution that corruption will be remove in just 90 days . if he is a correct Muslim and Pakistani then why he did not give the formula to the Government of Pakistan ? for what he is waiting for ? People are killing due to terrorism ? Mothers/ Fathers are killing there own children from there own hands due to Inflation ? being a muslim my believe is that if any muslim is in trouble and you know that he is in trouble and you have enough ways to help him out then why Imran Khan being a true Muslim and Pakistani why he is not helping to them ? if Imran knows the solution and he is not disusing with the Government and not trying to helping out the poor people so I must say Imran Khan will have to answer the blood of killing of innocent people . I am not against Imran Khan, or i dont have any personal argument with him. I just want people to realize that if Imran khan become chair person nothing good is going to happened.

He is asking for declaration of assets to make sure that no one can make black money even he/she get the chance to do it . He is the person who think of the future , he wants to move on . He wants to unite the nation which other parties are unable to do .  When it comes to imran , peoples criticism begins with , "he will", "i think" and so on . SO is it a justifiable reason to not cast the vote for him .  So please don't predict the future based on your thoughts.

Dear All Respected members,

What you say about this video ? Please watch it? why Imran khan didn't answer of it ?
My question is with Imran Khan, by showing or declaring of Assets how can you analyze that members is not corrupted ? I think its a wrong strategy to judge any one by his Assets. there are lot of ways to hide you Assets

2nd thing is that Imran Khan is saying that his past is clean. His Past should be clean because he don't get a chance to seat on any seat? When he will get a seat then we will see how honest he is ?

What Happened to You, Rush?

What Happened to You, Rush?
Posted on January 9, 2012 by LHR, Jr.

Writes John Tonnemacher:

I started listening to you in 1988. You were on the same station as Sean Hannity (he was the local guy), in Huntsville, Al. I was a Reagan conservative, who had graduated from college in 1982. I was so thrilled to find you, because you espoused the concepts of limited government and the Constitution. You spoke to me as no one else could. We used to order lunch in at our office and watch your television show. We were dyed-in-the-wool conservatives and you were our "leader". I have been a life-long "conservative", I supported both Gulf Wars because this had to be, and it was in our "best interest." I happily voted for George W Bush two times.

A funny thing happened in GW's 2nd term. While I never considered him a rock-ribbed conservative, he was the man to "protect us". That didn't mean I agreed with him on everything, I didn't. He was too much of "big government guy" and his spending, honestly, unnerved me. Your unwavering support for him, even in the areas of "big government" caused me pause. What happened to the Rush I knew that talked about limited government and the Constitution? I quit listening to you because I felt like I wasn't getting the straight scoop anymore, and you were becoming the "media type" you always railed against. I held my nose and voted for John McCain, another "big government guy.". I watched as Republicans supported TARP, and bailed out GM and Chrysler -- which I opposed, even though my livelihood is tied to the automotive industry. I found out we went into Iraq under false pretenses, based on the lying information of a defector and a false notion of "nation-building". I thank God both of my nephews made it back from Iraq safe, and I grieve for the parents of those killed, due to people like me buying the propaganda that we needed to go in there because of an imminent threat. I have voted a straight Republican ticket my entire life. I was thrilled the House turned over in 2010 by the sea change inspired by Obama, and understood, finally, we were going to see action. Most all of them, voted in favor of raising the debt ceiling, and could only find cuts amounting to roughly $3.8B out of a $3T budget. All of these things helped me to understand that the game is rigged. All of the great inspiring talk you and others throw out there mean nothing. It is the same old, same old.

You continually trash Dr. Paul, and he is the one person that aspires to represent the things you used to espouse, back those many years ago -- "limited government and the Constitution". You used to talk about the "marketplace of ideas", of which Dr. Paul is the one candidate who plays in that arena. The cast of characters in the Republican field, outside of Dr. Paul, is the same old washed up bullcarp (pardon my French). I am 53 years old, love what this country was founded on, and fears for my children and granddaughter. You paint us all as some kind of "whack jobs". Maybe so, but am I a "whack job" because I believe in those things that made America the unique experiment in human history?

Brush me off as someone who doesn't get it, but I am finally living and breathing my conscience and listening to the voice of liberty that has been pinging me for a very long time. I support Dr. Paul, and long that, even if he isn't given the nomination, his ideas will cause this country to right itself and turn back to it's roots. The cause of liberty is God-given and I am all in. Mock us if you will, but there are many more like me out here, and Romney isn't going to make it without us. Gingrich Proves He Hates Free Markets

Other than Ron Paul, who understands free markets and what liberty actually means, the Republican candidates have been vying with each other to see who can have the biggest police state or who can kill the most people. Now we see Newt Gingrich going after Mitt Romney because his firm, Bain Capital, actually practiced capitalism, which is anathema in Washington. (That only works when the government subsidizes "green energy" companies and other outfits that only can survive when taxpayers are forced to give them money they have not earned.)

Corporate raiders go after firms that are not in good shape, and they make money by selling off the assets of those firms. When a company is worth more having its assets sold in the open market than being a "whole" firm, that is not the fault of the corporate raider. Yes, people employed by those firms often lose their jobs, but they were going to lose their jobs anyway because the firm was in real trouble. (And, unlike General Motors, they did not have the political clout to be purchased effectively by the government. When GM went bankrupt, the firm as a whole had a negative value, and while it had some valuable assets, much of GM would have been sold for scrap metal had the free market process been permitted to work.)

While there is much to dislike about Mitt Romney (and, no, if he is the Republican nominee, I won't vote for him), the whole notion that Bain Capital actually destroyed wealth via its actions is laughable. Most Americans don't understand how this process works and from the attacks on Romney involving Bain, it is obvious that the Republican candidates sans Ron Paul also are as anti-capitalist as the Democrats.
