Every State Needs A Firearms Freedom Act

Texas House Bill 145 (HB145), the Firearms Freedom Act, was introduced by Rep. Jodie Laubenberg on November 8, 2010. The bill states that:

The Legislature of the State of Texas declares that a firearm, a firearm accessory, or ammunition manufactured in Texas, as described by Chapter 2003, Business & Commerce Code, as added by this Act, that remains within the borders of Texas:

(1) has not traveled in interstate commerce; and
(2) is not subject to federal law or federal regulation, including registration, under the authority of the United States Congress to regulate interstate commerce.

The judge who sentenced Aitkin lost his job (because of rulings in other cases) when Governor Christie failed to reappoint him. Hoepefully, Christie will give Aitkin an executive pardon.

Learn to fight back folks - before it's too late. Gun laws don't protect the innocent.

As an aside: Tape record any encounter with anyone connected to a government agency. The transcript of that recording could keep you out of jail.
