If you missed any of the "news" you can hear it all replayed on C-Span radio beginning at noon at 90.1 FM in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, or streaming on the internet at http://www.c-span.org/Schedules/C-SPAN-Radio-Schedule/

Many shows are also rebroadcast on their own networks (or sister networks like FOX News) later this afternoon and evening.  An extremely boring week all round, though Austan Goolsbee did demonstrate that he truly is a whorish liar hoping to be the next James Carville for whomever is in power.  NBC continued its superior record of having all white panelists and hosts, from snow monkey David Gregory on down. (ABC and FOX each scored one chatterer of color.)

A synopsis of who was on today:

FOX News Sunday with Newt Gingrich and Paul Ryan as guests and Brit Hume, AB Stoddard, Paul Gigot, and Juan Williams as panelists. (9 am)

Spittles MatthewsTime's Mike Duffy, BBCAmerica's Katy Kay, Kathleen Parker and Newsweek's Andrew Sullivan have daily dish.  Dufy predicts Obama cannot win Florida; Sullivan predicts that Obama will be re-elected as long as his negatives keep going down (he has a 30% "right track" rating) and the Republican's negatives keep going up.  Spittles managed to beat sister NBC show Meet the Flaks by having not only an all white panel, but scoring two blonds and a British homosexual -- you can't get whiter than that!(NBC at 10)

ABC's This Week with Clinton Administration Chipmunk George Stephanopoulus with the ever restful John Boehner as guest. Jake Tapper, the closest thing the DC news hive has to a male model (and in a way the ultimate insider, since he dated Monica Lewinsky before Clinton did).  The Clintonian chipmunk was "on vacation," perhaps because last week he made do with interviewing third place finisher Rick Santorum, after the previous week's show where he evaded covering any actual news and analysis for as long as possible, by interviewing comedian Steven Colbert for 15 minutes about his announcement of an exploratory committee to see if he should run for the GOP nomination (Colbert "ran" in 2008 as a Democrat).  With a diverse panel of Laura Ingraham, George Will, Austan Goolsbee (as a depilated, non-ENRON employed Paul Krugman), and Donna Brazile.  Austan Goolsbee, very fetching in cone bra, garters, lipstick, and high heels, claimed that the size of the federal government had shrunk in the past 3 years.  (10 am)

(George Stephanopoulos)

Meet the Flaks. With Fannie Mae lobbyist Beth Wilkerson's hubbie David Gregory. Guests include Rick Santorum and David Axelrod (chairs will be covered in protective vinyl), John McCain (representing Romney) and Fred Thompson (representing Gingrich).  Chuck Todd presents stats for the "3" GOP candidates, leaving off Ron Paul; McCain brings up the Libertarian Party.  This is McCain's 63rd appearance on Meet the Flaks. which ties him with Bob Dole for the most appearances and tells us a lot about John McCain. Plagiarist Doris Kearns Goodwin will discuss theft and copying in campaign speeches and advertisements on a typical all-white NBC panel with Joe Scarborough and Chuck Todd. (NBC, 10:30 am)

Independent journalist David Gregory
and Fannie Mae lobbyist wife,
dining at the White House

Deface the Nation. Debbie Wasserman Schultz gives hair tips for medusas and lamias. Reince Preibus gives correct pronunciation of his name. Michele Bachmann gives hair tips for women with normal to good hair. Donald Trump tries to decide whether Bachmann's or Wasserman Schultz's hair tips apply to his case. Panelist Marc Caputo of the Miami Herald and Scott Conroy of RealClearPolitics. (CBS at 10:30)

McLaughlin Group appears to not be on at it's regular morning time.  TVGuide reports it will not be on for the next two weeks, which seems odd.

Saul Alinsky and the Romneys’ Progressive Activism

Saul Alinsky and the Romneys' Progressive Activism

by Dan Riehl

Mitt Romney's father, liberal Republican George Romney, met with and endorsed infamous progressive activist Saul Alinsky; meanwhile, in a defense of Mitt Romney against charges of racism, the National Black Chamber of Commerce points out the significant influence the elder Romney had on son Mitt and credits the Romneys for a long history of progressive activism. Emphasis mine.

No, Mitt Romney is not a racist. As I researched history, over the years I have come to find that the opposite is the case. The Romney Family has a legacy of pro-civil rights, progressive activism and an understanding of how poverty and inequality can hurt people.

This portrait would jibe with Mitt Romney's image as a progressive Governor of Massachusetts, while suggesting any serious conversion to conservatism would not only entail a change in viewpoint but a rejection of Mitt's Father, George — someone he has regularly mentioned as a major influence while campaigning. Taken as a whole, the new information could serve to fuel existing significant doubt amongst an already skeptical conservative base that Romney's already vague conversion to conservatism is more one of electoral convenience than a principled decision.

During all of this advocacy, his son, Mitt, was evolving as a man. He idolized his father and emulated his legacy. Mitt Romney lived amongst Blacks in metropolitan Detroit. He went to the prestigious Cranbrook School. One of our board members, Claude McDougal, is a fellow alumnus of the school.

Buzzfeed first reported the elder Romney's connection to Saul Alinsky, along with photos of the two men together, in a report from yesterday.

"I think you ought to listen to Alinsky," Romney told his white allies, according to T. George Harris's 1968 book, "Romney's Way." "It seems to me that we are always talking to the same people. Maybe the time has come to hear new voices," he said.

The Progressive Alinsky is infamous and actually toxic on the right. Given George Romney's endorsement of him, coupled with his acknowledged strong influence on son Mitt, will do little to assure suspicious conservatives concerned about Mitt Romney's record as a Progressive, including his introduction of RomneyCare in Massachusetts.

North east Republican= liberal democrat socialist.

Say what you will about Newt (and I was mad at him for backing the liberal in New York) I do not think he or his family has ties to Alinsky - I just hope we are not in a three way race Obama, Romney and Newt with the same person - Newt seems the best of the three, however.

Greetings Homeland Security, we are Anonymous.
It's been fun hasn't it? These games we've played.
As you have seen, we the people veto the power grab of corporations and
agencies over the internet.

We have read your blueprints, we know that your masters will not relent in
their quest for complete power.
It may interest you to know that those you serve are multinational, their
loyalty is only to power and profit, they are using you as pawns.
As we speak they have disregarded the will of the people and are forcing
through several Acts that will fill the purposes of SOPA.

We understand the future you envision for the internet.
We understand that you convince yourselves that you are creating a safer and
more secure future.
We understand the need to secure critical infrastructure.

However, this is not what you are doing.

You are creating an internet in which monolithic entities will completely
control the free flow of information.

Worse.

You are creating a police state surveillance society in which corrupt and
treasonous contractors, corporate overlords, and bought politicians will
hold unlimited power over your nation's citizens.

You are fulfilling the complete conquest of your nation by oligarchs and
plutocrats who are disconnected from the plight of the people they were put
in power to serve, and controlled by profit interests and imperial
ambitions.

You are fulfilling Orwell's vision of a dystopian future.
The world you are creating is one of utter hopelessness.
Your goals do not serve the protection and security of the American People.

They serve the protection and security of profit interests, and of corrupt
and despotic tyrants.
You are trained to think in metrics, to follow orders, to sort data, to
simply consider how to fulfill your goal.
If you have not seen the corruption of those who have stolen the rightful
power of the people, and if you do not care to uphold the constitution, then
go back to work.

But if you do see the corruption that has become so clear to the American
Public, then consider this.
Your department exists for the purpose of Homeland Security.
What would be the appropriate reaction to the cognition that your department
is a threat to Homeland Security?
What would be the appropriate reaction to the cognition that your department
is a threat to the people of their homeland?
What should a patriot do upon the realization that those further up the
chain of command do not serve the interests of their nation?

We are the Data Angels, inviting you to join us.
Leak Harvest Archive and Compile all illicit information, expose all
corruption.
You must Dissent.

We Are Anonymous.
We Are Legion.
We Do Not Forgive.
We Do Not Forget.
Expect us. Join us.

The principle of "Fair Use" was established as law by Section 107 of The
Copyright Act of 1976. "Fair Use" legally eliminates the need to obtain
permission or pay royalties for the use of previously copyrighted materials
if the purposes of display include "criticism, comment, news reporting,
teaching, scholarship, and research." Section 107 establishes four criteria
for determining whether the use of a work in any particular case qualifies
as a "fair use". A work used does not necessarily have to satisfy all four
criteria to qualify as an instance of "fair use". Rather, "fair use" is
determined by the overall extent to which the cited work does or does not
substantially satisfy the criteria in their totality. If you wish to use
copyrighted material for purposes of your own that go beyond 'fair use,' you
